As an Oilers fan its been crazy. Did a faceplant to open the season. Fired a very good coach. Hired a great coach/staff Won 16 in a row Signed Perry McDavid went from 112th in scoring on November 3rd to almost winning the scoring title. MacDavid snagging 100 apples Went from 31st in the league to almost cstchjng Vancover for the Division title Feels like 3 seasons worth of drama😂😂😂

The depth is insane. Their 4th line is a convincing 2nd line on most teams. They're literally benching their 7th forward(perfetti) They have 14 forwards that can and have with ease played in the top 9. Brossoit is handsdown the best backup in the league, who at multiple points in the season had better stats than bucky. The D their weakest section has had a revival of their 3rd pairing. They're 1 top pairing D away from being a top contender. The Jets biggest flaw is getting caught up into bonehead attitudes and behaviors. I'd argue they're one of the most talented teams in the league, with one of the least consistent behavior.

I was at the caps game on Saturday and they had the same issue, same section with the curtain open, this time play was stopped because it was blinding fans behind the net. edit: Jensen walked out of the building Saturday which is a good sign. Carlson's GWG was his 150th goal which gave him the Caps franchise record for career goals as a defenseman.

6:54 interesting thing that I think will happen is that michigans will eventually become saturated ENOUGH that goalies won’t use the rvh when guys are behind the net, choosing instead to react on their feet. In a lot of ways, this is actually a correction for current practice, where goalies tend to just stay in their rvh because it’s easier than getting up. In this case, though, obviously Svech is moving laterally continuously making what I describe kinda moot. But mark my words, one day someone will figure out how to go rvh to feet, post-to-post. This is the exciting part: Suddenly, wrap-arounds become more likely to succeed, and shots off of quick passes out front have the bottom of the ice to work with again.
