Welcome to our grand 10th anniversary trip! For the first time, we are traveling to Europe, and we are checking several bucket list items along the way! We are starting in Rome Italy, followed by a 9 night Mediterranean/Greek Isles Cruise onboard Odyssey of the Seas, and finishing in France to visit Disneyland Paris!
Welcome to Naples Italy, our first port of our Mediterranean cruise! Napoli is considered the birthplace of pizza, so you know what these pie lovers are doing today! While our first choice of pizzeria was closed for the day, our alternative location was absolutely DELICIOUS! You haven’t had pizza until you’ve had pizza in Napoli! We then made our way to Christmas Alley, a street completely dedicated to selling Christmas decor! After a few purchases, we made our way over to the spot that originated the Margerita pizza, and give thanks for the pizza we know and love today! Unfortunately, this location was closed as well, but we still had a blast! To top it all off, we ended the day with a spectacular sunset and sail away!

I love that you skipped Pompeii. Walking around Napoli is essential. This is how these locals really do live. Next time skip Pompeii, again, and head over to Ercolano. Less known volcano destroyed town and fantastic! FYI- those little villages are all over the Amalfi Coast and Hill towns. Enjoy!

We're looking at restaurants right now to book for when we go but my g'friend asked me why we're just not eating on the balcony of the ship to watch it. Then I started thinking whether that would work. Can you see the sunset from the ship and what side of the ship would you want your cabin on? Would save a bundle for a dinner.
