Of course you can to amke a lower fence top height. Cut the top square like it is now.

Hi everyone. Buyer beware. I bought these from Home Depot and install them but guess what one and a quarter inch outdoor wood panels does not exist in Home Depot, Lowe’s, JW lumber, and Dixieline lumber. Then how in the world are we going to install these Were the stores that sell them does not carry the wood panels for them. I am in San Diego. Has anyone else running to this issue? I’m stuck. I emailed the company waiting for the response. That’s absolutely ridiculous. My suggestion is find the wood and then buy these posts that only takes 5/4 or one on a quarter inch outdoor panels.

Have you tried cedar wood? It's rot resistant. I saw some diy influencers using it. This is their channel: Sabrina and Andrew. Hope this helps 😊

All the major lumber yards carry 5/4 lumber which is 1 and 1/4” which fits perfectly in these. That’s what I bought from Home Depot and it worked amazing.
