Poor Sebastian! You know what else is missing from the official soundtrack? The music where you journey to Hogsmeade with Sebby for the first time! Can you put this up pleeeease? I love that whole sequence because it’s so magical - the lakes, the waterfalls, the little bridges. And Sebby is happy!

There's a lot to unpack here. My MC shaped his outcome. Arguably Sebastian could not have gotten as far and as fast is he did with my MC. Like Ominis said it starts as harmless at first (what harm could learning Confringo do?) Before you know it's Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra. I may have inadvertently created a foe or something far entirely different than the barrowing man Sebastian was meant to be. But he was always broken. But as Professor Rackham once said 'it is not you pain to take.' My MC may not have exploited magic like Isidora but he might as well have. I chose not to turn him in. My MC could not bear to banish a broken brother, a friend, something secretly MORE to Azkaban. Now I'll have to live with the consequences.

Sometimes I wonder what will happen to him in the sequel. I certainly do fear he'll start something he cannot come back to, but perhaps our protagonist could wake him up, snap him out of it and see that there's a different path ahead.

Hot take: this theme pulls a lot of weight in making Sebastian's questline so emotional. Because all the interactions with his sister take place in Feldcroft, and when he's talking about sacrificing everything to save her, this is the music you hear. It gives that same vibe of sadly tragic yet desperately hopeful as the Resurrection Stone scene in the movies.

I think Sebastian's story is one of the most depressing in the Wizarding World franchise. From what I could tell from his interactions and occasional trust issues with the MC, it seems Sebastian is suffering from a lot of emotional damage, and I don't just think it's because his sister Anne is dying. It's rather heavily implied that his uncle Solomon is psychologically and possibly even physically abusive towards Sebastian. Not once does he ever try to speak to Sebastian like he is a human being, he just lashes out at him. Not to mention the fact that you can find where Sebastian sleeps in Feldcroft, and it is not on a bed. I think Sebastian using the Killing Curse on his uncle wasn't just a heat of the moment thing, it was potentially due to him lashing out after years of torment at the hands of Solomon.

That's always the vibe that I got too. I'm assuming he didn't get along with Sebastian and Anne's father, and he clearly is messed up from whatever he went through during his time as an Auror. I mean, he tried to kill us! Two teenagers! Not once did he even attempt to listen, not once did he even ask for an explanation. As if a switch went off in his head and all he could see was dark wizards he had to eliminate. Sebastian killing him was 100% in self defense and in defense of Anne. But the wizard laws won't see it that way because of their arbitrary outlawing of the Killing Curse, as if burning someone to death of sucking out their soul is better instead of worse. Sebastian meddled with forces he could not control, but in the end he is still my MC's friend, as he is Ominus'. We won't abandon him, he still needs our help.

When i visited Feldcroft before visiting Sebastian's sister this music wasn't playing, this melody started when Sebastian and Solomon are arguing. From then on the melody plays everytime I'm in Feldcroft...everyone in the game seems to focus on Anne's pain but don't even see how much Sebastian is suffering.

Honestly, the main reason Sebastian's storyline was my favorite was just because of the emotions of all the characters involved, my heart just aches for Sebastian, Anne, and especially Ominus. I do feel my characters got the closest with Ominus and Sebastian, and by the end definitely felt like I was truly close friends with both of them, trying to help Ominus keep his friendship with Sebastian intact, while trying to help Sebastian restore the most important person in the world to him. My first character was a female Hufflepuff, and my second was a male Ravenclaw. For some reason, I feel like they both work perfectly in different ways. As the Hufflepuff, she was eager to help Sebastian, on his side that there must be a hope to save his sister, with an implied attraction growing between the two just based on how the dialog reads depending on the gender of the player character. After the foght with Solomon, she learned an important lesson. She would never have turned him over to the ministry because, well, loyalty. With my Ravenclaw, he is mostly on Ominus' side, just trying to look out for Sebastian in the hopes of helping his sister without doing anything too crazy. Of course, in the end, his intellect prevents him from seeing just how far Sebastian will go. He see's that Solomon's death was an accident in self-defense of himself, and of Anne's wellbeing since Solomon was clearly off his meds, and honestly, he wouldn't turn him in because he feels guilty for not stopping Sebastian earlier. In both playthroughs, my characters are orphans. The Hufflepuff was muggleborn, the Ravenclaw Wizard born who was gaslighted his entire life into thinking he was a squib. Both of them value their relationships at school so deeply, and its because of that that Sebastian and Ominus' questline cuts so deep. This music perfectly encapsulates all of that better than words ever could.

This theme breaks my heart. I turned Sebastian in out of anger but stupid muggle me figured they wouldn't send a 15 year old to Azkaban. I thought he would be given a chance. Turns out I was wrong. If this song could tell a story, it would be what I'd call "The Tragedy of the Sallow Twins". Sebastians desperation and the great lengths he's willing to go to try and save his dear sister Anne from the curse that's hurting her; only for him to ultimately lose the twin he clearly loved so much in the end.

After I heard this song constantly repeating while I was in Feldcroft, I had to see if I could find it on KZbin just to listen to it, and I can. I love the music. It's so good, and surprisingly, the cello parts remind me of Xenoblade Chronicles when you are exploring the Eryth Sea. It definitely sounds similar to my ears. Maybe it starts on the same note as the Eryth Sea theme does. But above all, I really enjoy the soundtrack of Hogwarts Legacy, I just don't like the constant crashes or the ridiculously long loading times, even when loading in the graphics. It always ruined my experience of the game because I found a lot of points in the game that are still broken or take five minutes to load in everything, even with the recent update. But when you can explore the open world that lasts for hours without a single crash, I can forgive them for it. Making a smooth open-world game is next to impossible.
