No story in this game gripped me like the Sebastian storyline. Everything else I didn’t care for or was bored with but with this one I was on the edge of my seat with every single quest in this story. Hearing this music is just nostalgic, even for a game only a year ago. The music that plays in this room just really helps convey the agony of the choices you have to make, whether or not to go deeper down the rabbit hole.

Man, this theme gives me chills everytime. I was so disappointed with the game, but Sebastian's story brought this darker atmosphere that I just love.

I sat in my dark az room for 54 minutes deciding if i should turn him in. The journey was full of emotion and loyalty, but sometimes anger. In the end, i couldn't turn my boy Sebastian.

Never turn Sebastian in. Rember that your character is likely to be called on trial as you were the only witness. I was thinking long and hard and turning him in does not help. He would end up in Azkaban which is everything but good thing.

I had that problem too. My first playthrough I ultimately decided to turn him in. Another playthrough I'm going to keep him around though.

Those of us who spent like 5 hours deciding whether to turn him in or not. I’m not gonna lie it’s not as easy as Sebastian’s fans or the people who dislike him think. It’s far from an instant choice. IN ONE SIDE: • He’s murderer now, he crossed the line and now it’s going to be easier for him to do it again. • He ignored every voice of reason • He is lost in feeling guilty or not • Now a potential threat for being a dark wizard and WE are also criminals for covering him up. ON THE OTHER: • He proved to be loyal towards us (MC) and never snitched on us. • He shared knowledge everytime he could with us. Helping us to catch up in school and being the first only friend. • We as the MC share a bit of guilt in supporting his pursue, especially me as a Ravenclaw was amazed to know more about dark magic just for the sake of knowledge until it was too late. • Azkaban is a fate worse than death, that place would only drive him mad and fully complete his dark wizard path, or else he is just going to die slow and painfully. Bad actions don’t erase the good ones… and also the other way around. The best ending that I can come up with is that the MC will now drag Sebastian (even if it’s by force) to the good side to amend his mistakes, his recklessness needs to be stopped and discipline must be taught to him asap or I’m afraid Sebastian is doomed to be a criminal that thinks being sorry is enough to compensate his awful actions, and we can’t cover him up forever. I didn’t turn him in, I believe he deserves a ONE FINAL chance, but no more. I believe he can still be rehabilitated, but acting asap.

The only “good” decision is to not follow him down his rabbit hole in the first place. I stopped after the Scriptorium mission, when I realized he was basically going to keep going after more dangerous magic and that my tagging along made no difference in his decisions. That’s the only sane, moral choice: actually listen to Ominis when he tells you not to pursue this further.
