I'm imagining the exploration of Breath of the Wild mixed with the storytelling of the Witcher, all while staying true to the source material. I'm pumped. So refreshing to hear a studio talk about how important it is to stay true to the world created by the author. In an age where Hollywood writers get their hands on a story and say, "This is mine now," it's nice to hear some devs who want to do justice to the source material, rather than changing it around and telling their own story.

If sorting is random I'm rerolling until I get Hufflepuff. I'm nearly 100% certain that there will be a choice involved, because that's how it works in the book. Not fussed about starting at year 5 cuz 3 years is going to take long enough and I'm sure there will be lots of end-game content after the main quest line. Soooo stoked.

I am thinking our character is a descendant of Merlin, which adds credit to the mystery of coming in as a fifth year. Which helps explain starting late since your are more naturally inclined to know magic. It’s the only wizard of relevance that they could still tie us to and be surprised by. Dumbledore would be a kid and soon to be a student of Hogwarts himself in this timeline so that is the closest relatable character we know besides some ghosts. Merlin’s is mention by his puzzles in this game that he left behind so I think it’s a pretty good theory to tie it together.

Well to answer the question if your character will be able to kill a person and then they start to become evil or do they just do something like knocking over a persons potion and keep walking and then start to become evil. Seeing how in the trailer he cast avada Kedavra a well known evil spell designed to kill your opponent i think it’s safe to say your character can kill people in the game and that’s when u start to become evil...

There is quidditch but they didn’t make it one of the important things they left us wondering but still there is quidditch no Hogwarts without quidditch proof 8:11 behind the character quidditch field also the character is wearing the quidditch uniform

Agree. I'm about 20-25 hrs into the game now, and it's slightly repetitive.. but its okay. I wish "learning spells" was a little more harder or puzzle like that just moving you joystick with the motions... overall game is good.
