I did what you did - but I changed FSR 2 to Quality and capped it to 30 FPS (Steam Deck Menu) Works good - relatively stable

I don’t necessarily think this is a Steam Deck capability issue- I played on my PC last night (3080, Ryzen 7 3800x, 32gb Ram) and the game benchmarked me at Ultra. PC was running at 50%-60% load and during a cutscene it would tank and hit 25-30fps. I’m hoping a day 1 patch will fix this :) I’d say be patient to anyone getting frustrated as it’s not just the deck it’s doing it with :)

yes my desktop PC has an rtx 3060 and I was getting only like 50-60fps and sometimes had drops below 30.

Can get 30-60 if you literally turn everyone off including motion blue etc. also fsr off in both settings

Should I disable the fsr on the steam deck and enable the one in game or can you leave both on because it doesn’t matter?

I had immediately played the game wired through my tv and initially it was soooo bad that during all the cutscenes no one’s face would render so students all looked like terrifying potato quality dementors

@@FusionGamingChannel it's already outputting a full resolution image, there is nothing for it to upscale. It's basically not turned on

The stutters are most likely to due to shader cache issues. Hopefully updates fix the issue

I played on Deck last night. All settings medium, v sync off, FSR 2 Balanced, FPS capped at 30 on deck and VRam set to 2gb. Smooth gameplay all night. Played for 7 hours. Used vibrant deck plugin too. Game looked really good.

@FusionGamingChannel very minor ones. I have turned off FSR completely now, and this has improved performance. The game still looks good.
