Can you point out some examples?

@Musikus1871 1) "I made my cause as hard as I could." This may well be a literal translation into the English but it's kind of vague in English. 2) "The generals discuss briskly." In English, to do something briskly has strong physical connotations, such as walking or going somewhere. 3) "To Breslau, the King marches in good calm." I understand the meaning here but it wouldn't be said this way in English. "...the king calmly matched...," would be a better rendering. 4) "But then the cannons hummed 'Cheers, good meal'" to it. Not sure exactly what that's saying. Thanks for posting and a nice rendition, however. Just trying to be helpful.
