Fun fact: you can get the achievement for removing all negative national spirits by starting a game as turkey without battle for the bosporus active since you then have none of those spirits.

Soviet and Italy tree still basic asf. Charge arm and leg for just 3 focus trees. Still completely buggy and broken. Peace deals stills a joke. Yep, it's a paradox dlc

Woah! I really love playing as Greece and Turkey in the game. i probably played them over 50 times already but I never succeeded in restoring the ottoman and byzantine empire... Finally a DLC! i love this

This is my favorite dlc yet. Obviously cos im turkish. The fact that it includes our language, praises Ataturk and throws shade at the religious just makes me even happier. I just wish the ottoman empire had a better color

@@billyjohnson3674 and even though I love the dlc they didn’t care enough about the kemalist path. Bunch of information and traits about the generals don’t match their real life versions. For example Greece’s generals are way too strong considering they don’t have a proper and independent army AND they got their asses whooped all the way back to Athens. A Turkish general Kazım Karabekir was one of Ataturks closest friends and during his time as an ottoman officer he disobeyed the sultan, protected Ataturk and stayed loyal to him even at gunpoint. He led a disorganized old ottoman army that didn’t have proper equipment to defeat hordes upon hordes of Greek and Armenian armies all supplied by the UK. He is given the worst traits in the game and isn’t a kemalist. The ottoman focus tree also needs a rework. Align Bulgaria should come right after you bring back the sultan or Bulgaria joins the axis because it takes too long. Align Bulgaria first, then the Greece war goal. Also the left branch of the kemalist tree that focuses on peace and neutrality shouldn’t be necessary for the Ottoman Empire. It takes too long and the color adds to the experience of underwhelming. I’m saying this as the biggest Turkish nationalist and Ataturk admirer that Greece is more fun 70 percent of the time.

Did you even play the game mate? That’s what the name of the focus is when the ruling party is the CHP. You can still go with it the CHP at the election achieve ataturks dream and move on to another branch. It gets replaced completely by another focus but logo looks the same

WHAAAAT? That part when you chose between the restoration of sultanate (after the civil war fires), that second decision, "Our alegance is to the republic, to democracy", that is surely a reference to Obi-wans line in RoTS.

I like the video a lot, I learned a lot about the Focus three on the left side. Now I know why most people take that path in the videos I’ve seen.I’ve been trying to figure out how you get to the right side of the focus tree? But I don’t know what focus to take to get down there? I’ve also been trying to get rid of the resistance. It takes a lot of time though.

Would it be possible to give a guide about how to effectively micromanage? I find that the biggest problem I have is that I don't quite know what divisions to use for attacking certain provinces so I just end up getting my butt kicked by relatively equal or stronger AI.

i found another way to bring back the caliph when ataturk is sick the year 1937 in decision, i found an option for ataturk successor i click that then 2nd option is bring back the ex-caliph click that and boom

Do you mean to play in multiplayer? Because I think you need Discord for that, and I haven't got Discord on my computer. I don't know anybody how plays HOI4 and can give me advice, it was really helpful.

@@lepe_warrior69 japan isn't the worst country to play as as a first timer. Mine was Hungary and I really struggled with Romania. With Japan though I recommend that you either go fascist or non aligned (non aligned if you want to go to war with China and not get all the negative points from Marco polo bridge incident). Biggest advice I'd give is just remember to keep on top of everything especially in research. in the focus tree always try to go for extra research slots when available.

7/2 in the video. But I don't recommend it. Use 14/4 to push and 10/0 with art support as fodder to hold the line. 10w with engineers for port security

Wow, gonna love this DLC, I can already feel it. But Paradox must fix its AI, not helping your front at all, invading in stupid places, not giving you your rightful war participation, getting an arguably unfair peace treaty, and Bulgaria glitching out. Wouldn`t be surprised if this ruined your mood for the rest of the day Bitt3r.

In the first gameplay I had no problems to deal with Greece and Yugoslavia, but in the second and third gameplay Italy starts justifying war goal (400 days) on Yugoslavia (never did that before) and of course UK is there with guarantee. Going to war with Allies with Ottoman Turkey is pointless in 1940.

1. The focusses change name as you change political allignment. It will become purge the officers as you move down. 2. You NEED to let the DP win the elections.

Let's be honest. New royal succession law is really good for rp. Cause after death of Sultan - new Sultan is not his eldest son, it is the older man in royal family. So it's his brother. Or his nephew if he older, than Sultan's sons. So, how you see, this is very stupid and very difficult

Ah yes, the ruling party, Devlet-i Ebed-müddet. One of the names of the empire and probably motto for the empire as well. Literally, mean the Eternal State. Seem fit with the theme.
