The Middle East is already a hotbed of tension and conflict, Stakuyi here will make it worse before he makes it better. Stakuyi here trying to not lose his country and his sanity after everything seems to be spiraling out of control is really funny. And everything falling apart at the end was the perfect way to finish the run as Iran.

That being said, this is video 8 of asking Stakuyi to play Equestria at War again, this time as the Neo-Hazrumenian Empire. Start out as the “Republic” of Tobuck. Rush down the right side of the focus tree towards the “The Exiled Royal” focus. After that, let the warlord suspicious tick down. Once that’s done, all you need to do is beat Chiropterra, and you’ll unlock the diabetic king and his wholesome kids.

Having unemployment beyond the threshold of your country gives you rather massive welfare costs. At 9:24 you can see in the Economic Preview, that your unemployment threshold is 8% and the unemployment is 26%. The probably best way to deal with unemployment is building offices. They create considerably more jobs than factories and dockyards, on top of adding more to your GDP, i.e. earning you money. A potential quick band-aid is to just increase the conscription, since that gets many umemployed into the military in very short time... but that makes you military costs go up, which eats up some (but usually not all) of the money you no longer have to pay for welfare. Dropping welfare and health care can also be a good choice, since it not only saves money, but also decreases you monthly population growth... but if you're in need of manpower, population growth is exactly what you want, so it's a double-edged sword.

I see Stakuyi wanted to go for an any% cancelation speedrun and a 100% government watchlist speedrun. Spicy. If you want to try something a bit different, there's a fun combination mod of Old World Blues and Equestria at War called Balefire Blues. If so, I'd recommend Unity or Red Eye.

10/10 for realism. The way the campaign ended is EXACTLY what has happened every time Iran got too full of itself and tried going all out. It's why they rely on terrorism to get what they want. Their armed forces are a disjointed mess that makes Imperial Japan look like a strong, united front by comparison. It only took a single 8-hour work day to destroy half of their navy, and that was when the US Navy was holding back. If they ever actually got cut off from the world economy like that and all-out invaded, their populace would probably not even fight back. The average Iranian hates the religious regime.

Have you tried Millennium Dawn as Singapore? It's an interesting potential playstyle. Because trade deals = passive income, it can be very diplomacy focused. They also get a lot of bonuses to foreign investments (faster, cheaper, more profitable etc).

Iranian here : we do have different Iranian ethnicities, but, we all share the same culture and customs. To be more specific, what unites us isn't the religion, but it's the Iranian culture.(celebrating Nowruz, patronage of Ancient Iranian civilization...) In fact, we disdain the theocratic tyranny of Shias so much, we don't even practice thier prayers and other religious forced customs. To summ it up, we have a strong sense of national unity opposed to religious unity, which enrages the occuping regim in Iran more and more.
