Theoretically, it is. If you pay sufficient money to change the laws to make more difficult to commit it and afterwards pay money to teach people to stop corruption, you're pressing a button and fighting corruption. Basically Robin Hood, but corrupt and rich lol. Also, the person that would do it would need to be rich, and that isn't difficult, but the person would need much luck to be born sufficiently rich to do it.

@Isaac M Well it's more about having the business acumen to make said money. Also unfortunately it's just not that easy to teach people to stop corruption. So much of that is based on cultural factors and of course being fought back. Corruption, more than anything else, is putting yourself in front of the whole but with those in power. Such things are very difficult to root out because those in power have the most incentive to use said power for their own goals. In real terms, probably the best way to root out corruption is to make serving the whole in said people's best interest.

Having played MD as the Israelis, I’ve learned the easiest way to lose debt is cut the spending on everything and get rid of your army but have it training quietly in the background as it won’t cost anything for it to exist as training… maybe that can help ya with the debt problems you have in most MD games you do. Also Israel can be interesting. On two separate occasions I swallowed up Jordan and then also fought Syria because they deleted their debt… good times.

What was your taxes, I noticed you never opened the econ window. On that top bar the yellow dollar sign which is your treasury, if you click on that you get a breakdown of your economy as a whole and can adjust corporate and population taxes.

Once I actually had political power I raises taxes from 15 percent corporate to 30. Pop was about 50 from start and I didn’t lower it. Most of the game was lower to allow for more building

Though you should try the US when 1.8 comes out in late April, I heard they're expanding to add 8 political party trees and there's gonna be a basic teaser for some Phase 3 or whatever as well. I will say, for a superpower it is hard to keep that status due to the constant economic turmoil lol. Guess congress gave them lots of ideas to go off of.
