They attacked at the right time, just when most of the Comintern's forces was busy. So Germany was able to retake a lot of important core territories, and also occupy parts of Netherlands and Belgium to create the Reichprotectorates. Truly awesome to see how the AI was able to make such a massive comeback!

They were building them up for 10 years and when they retook their cores they quadrupled their manpower combined with the unimaginable amount of equipment in storage and from enemy capitulation boom instant army.

@@8eight306 Very true! And don't forget that this was late game, so they probably had late game doctrines that also gave them additional manpower, and the population had increased in size too. I have seen some scenarios where the AI is able to get a massive amount of divisions in a very short amount of time if they are gaining lots of core territories (lots of times when USSR does a comeback etc).
