@@CoffeeCatsVLOGS this what I thought of Escolta ,Escolta lost it's glory long time ago decades had past when modern shopping center and Shopping Mall had mushroom around Metro Manila the exodus of business of Escolta migrated to this new modern shopping places others had closed down many time had been tried to revive Escolta but nothing had succeed how can we bring people to shop in Escolta when people love going to modern malls? This is perhap the best solution give the people the best of Escolta developer will built Condominiums around Escolta street behind historic buildings this will bring people to shop in Escolta this will also prevent demolishing this treasured old iconic structures the old building will be restored to it"s former glory with modern convenience this Iconic building will be repurpose and adaptive to house booths for shops and turn it into mall that interconnected to other buildings through sky foot bridges the road will be restored and cable stone to recaptured it's turn of a century elegance glass conopy roof will shellter the shoppers with art deco and art nouveou stain glass design the road will be close to traffic and transportaion will be the revival tramvia and classic cars or Spanish style Caruaje lamp post will adorn the street in Old Spanish gass lamp or ornate lampost with antique style bench and teracotta planters for flowers and greenery open air cafe or al fresco dining will fill empty spaces in the street this Mall will be Called ESCOLTA DOWNTOWN MALL in the 50's Escolta was also called downtown since the decline of Escolta nobody say downtown anymore when they will shop in Manila the Mall will be like a historical Museum depicting the history of Escolta from it's decoration grafitties and ambiance will bring back it's lost glory shopping and history combine this is my vission of new Escolta
