I'd love to dig these freeze pedals more if they included a stereo pan ability: you play, freeze let's say on the Rigtht, then it lets you play on the Left while the Right decays, then you freeze the Left, and it lets you play on the Right again... Complicated to explain but simple thing. The demo was killer as always. Cheers !

Yeah. Rather than having send/return, they should have put stereo ins/outs on it. What good is an ambient soundscape that doesn't hover around your ears? I know, most guitar rigs will be in mono, but so many other TC pedals have stereo out, so why not this one? Or, give us two outs, one is mono, the other can be made stereo with a TRS cable. Like some Strymon pedals do. So that we can have the ambience hovering in stereo, while the thing we play on top is in mono and "sits" in the center of the ambience.

Was skeptical if this would work well... but it does… LOVE my TC Infinite pedal !!! Very natural sounding once you get used to the timing of the capture.. actually super easy to use and get great sustaining notes/chords. I prefer the natural modulation this pedal provides over the synthetic drone of the EHX Freeze. Another nice feature of the Infinite: you can keep Reverb on your dry signal (after you stop the sustain effect) if you set it up in Toneprint under Routing>Input to Reverb Always (0.0db). My favorite noodling and practicing pedal. Would be perfect if they had an expression pedal input, stereo pan and maybe MIDI. The ability to completely shape your tone with TonePrint put this pedal way above the competition IMO.

Lots of glitchy fun if the note is milliseconds late to take advantage of the warbling. My ehx ring thing sounds great in the fx loop.

For those interested TC Electronic has released a pedal that combines, I believe, the majority of their pedals into one with multiple footswitches. I recently ordered it and it's amazing for having many pedals in a practical format.

hello, i sing and play electric guitar in a power trio band. my bass player just stopped. my drummer can't play with along my looper. is it the solution for soloing with for exemple freezing a note with an octaver. maybe it's easier than a looper in live situation?

For me, that's TS's take on the EHX Superego / Superego Plus - at a very good price and much smaller real estate requirements on the board ... not bad TS ... I may check this out as a replacement for my Superego.

I don't really see this as similar to the Superego+. Then again, I don't know much about that pedal either, other than I've seen in demos. It feels like the Superego+ has many more functions.

@@nedim_guitar That's the 1st "infinit sustainer" i see that has a very similar concept to Superego. Ofc, there are differences, but the concept to have effects in a sustainer loop is very rare on the market beside EHX and this one. I like the stacking and fade in (what EHX does not have). I miss the wet/dry mix that EHX has.

The Infinite samples the actual note and adds a touch of modulation (which I prefer). The Freeze creates a synthetic drone note with no modulation and sounds a bit artificial IMO. The Toneprint of the Infinite and added features puts this head and shoulders above the competition including the Gamechanger Plus.

As far as I can tell, all of these pedals have an obtrusive tremolo on the sustained sound. For my taste, that makes them unfortunately unusable.

the only reason i wont buy this pedal is because it puts that stupid shimmer warble sound on the hold. why can't it just hold solid like the freeze without the awful tone suck.
