Australian or American, cars as we know them are a dying breed. At least Australia got to hang on to their Utes a little longer. America said goodbye to the Chevy El Camino and Ford Ranchero years ago

I blame the ‘green cars craze’ & poor sales for death of Aussie muscle cars. Better hope Ford, GM & Dodge keep the tradition alive for the next gen.

Territoty had it's fair share of mechanical issues , that's for sure .... but when it first came out it was the market leader for a while , it had the rest playing catch up ! ( although it didn't take them long to surpass it , especially as Ford didn't invest in updating it ..... they knew the writing was on the wall I think ) Sad to see ALL local manufacturing go ...... they are engineering skills that won't probably ever return to Aust. 😔

It's not good for Australia and manufacturing, but it was useless about the things was used, there's more business people buying it than people using for everyday purposes. Why in the world I would like a car that waste a lot of petrol, driving alone, hardly room at the back,to low and noisyyy. It's good to have it until your young but not enough money, later the life is changing family and that.Holden should protect at least the commodore like an Australian icon at least.Look what's on the streets now M3,AMG,GTI,WRX.Way way behind in thinking what the market would look like.

I'm sorry but you're wrong when it come to America most iconic sports car it is none other than the iconic Corvette. When it comes to the most iconic musclecar that started everything in America it's the Pontiac GTO before the Mustang or Camaro ever existed.

There is a lot of reasons, PM if you are really interested, I can send you a document from an automotive society in Australia, plus engineering I believe will start to decrease in Australia, which will have a major impact on Australia, pushing us from a 1st world country, no more automotive, no more SAE either

Holden killed themselves. They put all their chips into Commodores with everything else being a half-arsed rebadge (with quality to match!). Literally no reason to buy a Holden if you didn't want a Commodore (and most didn't when the market shifted away from sedans).
