But yeah, Homelander, Hughie, Butcher and Starlight are essentially the main characters, and to say they all survive is nothing other then obvious plot armor. 🙄😉✌️

Only 4 seasons with a definitive ending. Even if you don't react to it here (which you absolutely should..Jen would love it for sure) you guys should in the very least watch this show!!! I would recommend Banshee since you enjoyed how antony starr played homelander. Yes the first few seasons are heavy with sex nudity I won't lie about that. It had the show runner from true blood. But season 3 and 4 toned it down alot unlike true blood this show had great storylines and didn't need to rely on nudity to compensate.

Karl Urban who plays Billy Butcher does a pretty terrible cockney accent here 😂 his kiwi accent comes through a lot. Some of the phrases are right but not always used in the right ways and places. Still a very entertaining character though 👍

Dude thank you for finally explaining something that bugged me when i watched season 1. Im scottish, pretty familiar with english accents, and every time butcher spoke i was like "oh he's a character from the aussie-new zealand neck of the woods" but then when i looked up the character online it said the character was english and i felt like i was losing my fucking mind, totally makes sense now!

There was a British comic back in the 80s & 90s called Marshal Law, that you might enjoy. The writer was one of the creators of Judge Dredd for the comic 2000AD. In the story, some of it is like The Boys where people are given superpowers, and a lot of the superheroes are actually assholes. The big name heroes are also based on DC characters, like in the boys. A big difference is that there are a lot of people with powers, because they were enhanced to fight in a war. Then they come back with serious issues. Marshal Law is the cop who handles super powered crimes, often through extreme violence

I can’t believe I’m about to try to explain the physics of translucent exploding, but here I go. Because his entire skin is tough as diamonds it will hold in and amplify the plastic explosive going off causing a tremendous amount of pressure instantly like filling up a balloon, even skin that tough will have a weak point especially since there are just natural places where the skin stops (mouth, etc) so in the instant that explosive goes off and all that energy and gas expand exponentially eventually a weak point on the skin is going to fail. When that happens all that energy trying to escape would rip that failure point larger and larger, resulting in… well…. Ch-ch-ch-ch-CHERRY BOMB!!!! I hope this helps. Love your reactions ❤️

+Holden Hardman I can’t believe you haven’t watched Season 2…You’re in for a real treat. When I watched S2 after the first episode I was like hmm I don’t know if this is going to be as good as season 1. But then S2 quickly become better and better and better with every episode and surpasses season 1 in my opinion. PLUS I think watching it now may not have the same effect as when it aired because it aired during when Trump was in office and the show was more current than ever. Don’t want to spoil anything but watching it as it aired was like watching an entertaining commentary on our real world situation except with Super Heroes.

It's a Kripke show so it's going to be very well done. Right now the world is pretty small but it'll keep growing. And by Season 2 you'll be seeing ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL kinds of Supes. I would hope ya'll can get finished by the time Season 3 starts up. Not sure when it'll be but it is this year.
