I honestly think the droids stole the show this episode. Huyang and Chopper are definitely scene stealers. And once again, I'm very interested to see what the deal is with Baylan and Shin. Seeing Sabine in her Mandalorian armor again was great too. A near perfect recreation of the armor she wore in the Rebels epilogue.

@@RenzagoNot even that, because their sabers are orange. Also for the record, gray doesn't exist in Star Wars. You have the Father and Son relationship between Din and Grogo where Grogo is a Jedi Youngling learning to become a Mandalorian and then you have the Master and Student relationship between Ahsoka and Sabine where Sabine is a Mandalorian learning to become a Jedi. I hope the cross-over movie points this out between the two and their chosen paths. Also, Eye of Sion...reference to Darth Sion from KOTOR 2 Sith Lords? Also again, noticed the big theme set up by Episode one is Master and Apprentice. You have Ahsoka and Sabine the good guys. Then you have their dark mirror counterparts with Baylon and Shin. Then potentially there's Thrawn and Morgan? Then we have our Inqusitor whose the odd man out. Hmm...

Hey, Holden and Jen! Another solid episode. We get a live-action Chopper! PETER JACOBSON, the shipyard manager, is a veteran character actor from many shows including "The Lost Room", "House", "The Americans", "Colony", "Ray Donovan" and "Fear the Walking Dead". I don't think he had any Imperial inclinations and was just as surprised as Ahsoka and Hera that so many loyalists were operating right under his nose. The introduction of this new galaxy and its inhabitants creates many possibilities most especially paving the way for the YUUZHAN VONG INVASION! That massive hyperdrive ring is to provide the propulsion necessary for extragalactic travel which far outdistances intragalactic travel! Interesting that Baylan admires Ahsoka and would rather spare her if he could. He still identifies with the Jedi. Great Marrok-Ahsoka duel! Love her sidestep. I want to know who he is! The last scene on Lothal matches the epilogue of "Rebels" very closely minus Ahsoka's staff. That means these two episodes took place after "Mandalorian" Season 2 but before the "Rebels" epilogue. The rest of this show predates "Book of Boba Fett" since it occurs two years after "Mandalorian" Season 2 which presents the opportunity to show Ahsoka's first meeting with Luke during the course of this show!

I mean Vader could choke a dude from the other side of a 19 km long ship. Feels fair that a lesser force user could move their saber a few hundred yards. Especially given the fact that they would be in control of it, or "touching it" through the force the entire time. It would feel worse if it were something that wasn't already in their minds eye, like grabbing random distant objects as though they were Mjolnir. My head canon is that holding an object in your hand gives you a better spatial awareness of that object, so you could do more with it when wielding a mental projection of it through the force.

I had to re-watch the Clone Wars & Rebels just to remember what's going on in this. I'm curious where the "bad guys" are going in this show.

There's a very specific Easter egg from Andor that goes back to the Knights of the Old Republic games that people believe may have the answers to whom the beings that came in to this Galaxy and started building stuff were. I will give you a hint it is the kyber crystal that he gave to Cassian before sending him to Aldahni

@@bemasaberwyn55Yep its the Rakatans most likely with the hint of the rakatan uprising in Andor

Your comments just after finishing is what i like to hear. Story is good, visualy amazing, and enjoys the female led aspect of the show. I'm seeing so many complaints about how slow it is, the acting is terrible and that the force is female because Filoni is daring to give attention to the female characters. This started off great and I'm glad to hear from actual sane people who can point out the pros and cons reasonably. Because there were a few cons.

The show's slow because the editing for the dialogue in Filoni live-action is always... so... slow... "Hi Ahsoka." "............Hi Sabine....." ".............Do you have a mission for me?" "...............................Maybe." Watching the show's dialogue scenes with good editing from Holden's channel completely changes the quality of the show. And you can see Jen yawning constantly trying to get through it. 😂

@@MrBazBake Or, she was tired. And the dialogue is to the point and we have scenes where we don't need speaking. When Ahsoka and Sabine reunited, all we needed was the awkward silence between the two. No prolonged talk before Ahsoka said she may have found Ezra. They themselves commented on how they liked that the dialogue was to the point and many other reactors. These are characters that know each other for years through Clone Wars and Rebels and the mass majority of fans are the same. So, we know them, we don't need to spend time on prolonged dialogue. This showcases how well the characters know each other and the audience know these well developed characters from past shows.

@@ahsokarules2369 Editor here. You're right. Jen's yawning has nothing to do with whether a show is exciting or not. She could probably yawn on a roller coaster. 😂

I'm going to continue watching this show-Ray Stevenson has intriguing undertones to an impressively understated performance, and I want to see live-action Thrawn-but it's a grind for me. "Attach a tracking device to a ship presumably moving kilometers per second by having an astromech throw it really hard" is a new level of dumb, even for _Rebels_ -adjacent media.

Holden: "It's like a video game." Me: Funny you say that, cause these Star Maps are heavily used in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

My lil theory i posted one other place is that I think thrawn and ezra are dead. The clip of thrawn is a flashback to the scene where they got taken by the whales. Elsbeth is being manipulated into opening a gateway and fleet straight to death. The witches originated in the other galaxy but have weakened during the lost millenia, easy prey now for an intergalactic threat of psychically physical destruction, weilders of the force before jedi ever came up with it. Unsure if the enemy is alien or ancient humans who didnt flee/migrate to rhis galaxy... Invasion is imminent.

Truthfully, outside of Andor this show is definitely the best looking- blows Mandalorian and BoBF out of the water
