I like how now that we see Morgan Elsbeth in a brighter setting we can see that she's got some more Dathomiri features. My guess is that she's mixed Dathomiri/human. Also she needs to have a fight scene, why else hire Bruce Lee's goddaughter? Jai Krell was the character in Rebels that Ezra got out of the Imperial Academy and joined Ryder, voiced by Dante Basco. The theme of 3 (the 3 witch statues, the Celtic Trinity Knot) in the Nightsister iconography is directly from Wiccan/Druidic Pagan iconography with the 3 Sisters (The Daughter, The Mother, and The Crone).

What an amazing premiere. I'm already really intrigued by Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati (named after the wolves Skoll and Hati of norse mythology). I love how much ferocity is in every single one of Shin's saber swings, while Baylan is very controlled and precise. But what I am most happy about is the return of Kevin Kiner as composer for the show. Kevin Kiner has previously been the composer for both TCW and Rebels, which means we're gonna get alot of thematic synergy with those shows, something we've already seen in episode 1. Besides Ahsoka's theme, which is obviously also incorporated into the show's main theme, we have so far also heard both Ezra and Sabine's themes, with the theme for Sabine being that beautiful melody they started using in season 3 when Kanan trained her to use the darksaber and obviously Ezra's theme is the one used ever since season 1 of Rebels. Edit: Mixed up the name of one of the wolves.

The problem I have with it is that I think the Jedi and the Sith weren't explored enough. We get all these other things in the universe before we get a Jedi's journey in the old republic, creating lightsabers from scratch while they're on the run from a No Country For Old Men type assassin. There is plenty to explore with the Jedi and Sith (golden age of the sith) but they're just giving us peanuts on the side of a butter sandwich.
