Hello Isaac I just realized I didn't have your notification bell clicked. Good to see you back. You make these hold styles and playing look so easy. I feel like a dudes because I don't sound the same but then again like piano I need to start from the fundamentals and make time for practise. You're really a pro it sounds like something from a Louisiana night club.

Thanks my man! I've been playing for about 15 years or so, and a lot of it is just second nature now. When I wanted to get serious, I found a KZbin channel by a guy named Adam Gussow, who started uploading some real deal lessons around 2007 or so. Here's his channel with all them old videos: kzbin.info Eventually, I learned from other folks too, including a good friend I made in AZ named Chris Michalek. He was a harmonica wizard, but sadly passed from a brain anuerism almost 10 years ago.

@@OneHarp I have a good friend let's pass from an aneurysm last month in North Carolina also who used to be a firefighter. Do you always play the same key harmonica or do you have different keys when you play with other people

Sorry to hear about your friend. It's a tough thing man, and I have been there... I've got probably something like 70+ harmonicas these days, lol! I've got all different keys and tuning layouts, and couple of chromatic harps, a bass harp, and a few octave and tremolo harps too. It's big world of harmonicas out there (!), but I recommend buying a 5 key set of Hohner Special 20 harmonicas in C, D, G, A, and E. With those keys, you can play along with most recordings and with your friends on most tunes. You'll get a nice little zippered case to keep them in too. www.amazon.com/Hohner-Marine-Band-Special-5-Piece/dp/B0017T7XCG/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=hohner+pro+pack&qid=1558885147&s=gateway&sr=8-3

I play for the most part on a 45 degree angle using the Kongsheng Mars harmonica. Best suited because of the round holes. My hand position moves and rocks around to help with note placement and for effects. My hands are more in a prayer position, which is more comfortable and the harp sits deeper in my hands.

Don't forget Lee Osker grip. For harp players who have air leaks with traditional grip.

How does Lee Oskar grip the harp? I'm not familiar with that one!
