Crock Pot Chocolate Peanut Clusters!!! Melt 2lbs white melting chocolate (chunks or bars), 4 oz German's baking chocolate and a bag of semi sweet morsels in the crock pot.. then add 16 oz salted peanuts and 8 oz unsalted peanuts, stir and drop clusters on parchment paper to cool. SO GOOD!

I used to make that but I changed it up. I use any kind of graham crackers, same butter & brown sugar, I take 1 bag of different kinds of chips. My favorite is chocolate graham crackers, the same butter & sugar I bake 350 for 12 minutes, then put 1 bag of Andes mint chips on top. They melt quickly. End result it takes like a thin mint cookie, yummy 😋

Potato Candy! My recipe is simple and quick. Boil a small potato. Mash and add a teaspoon of vanilla, then add confectionery sugar until you get a good dough. Roll out and spread peanut butter or you could use crunchy peanut butter, spread on your dough, roll into a log and slice. Easy Peasy 😃 Everyone in my family loves it!

I make those Cracker Candy cookies but, I let the chocolate chips melt and then spread it with an offset spatula, then I top it with toffee bits. I put it in the fridge to set up and break it apart . :) Yum yum. My other favorite is to take a big marshmallow and dip it in melted caramels that are mixed with a can of sweetened condensed milk then I roll them in rice krispies. Eat them warm. So good!

My Daddy was a police officer for years. Durning Christmas time my Mama always made burbon balls for him to take to work. As a treat for all the Officers after work. It is fast mixing together and then rolling them into balls was always fun as a family. 1 box vanilla wafers 1 Teaspoon cocoa 1/2 cup ( or more)bourbon 1 cup powdered sugar (splitting into 2 -1/2 cups) Crumble vanilla wafers add 1/2 cup powdered sugar into the crumbs. Add cocoa & bourbon use your hands to mix until you have a play dough. consistency you can roll into a ball. Roll balls into powdered sugar.

1 container of Oreos crushed ( any flavor) mixed with a block of cream cheese. Make into small bite size balls then freeze. Melt bag of chocolate chips ( can use dark, white,Or butterscotch based on flavor of Oreos. Dip each ball into melted chocolate then let cool or freeze ahead. Makes delicious, wonderful cheesecake type candies for Christmas. You can decorate the balls with drizzling various melted chocolate of opposite color or add food coloring to white, crushed nuts, sprinkles etc.

Yum! The only thing better is if you were in my little kitchen to fix it, lol. I used to make peanut butter balls, aka Buckeyes and decided it would taste the same in a bar form and be a LOT easier. Here is my recipe: Peanut Butter Cup Bars Yield: 16 bars or double for 9 x 13 Prep Time: 15 minutes | Chill Time: 30 minutes ½ cup unsalted butter (I use salted)
 1¾ cups powdered sugar
1 cup smooth peanut butter (can use crunchy)
¾ cup graham cracker crumbs ¼ cup unsalted butter
½ cup milk chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate) (I use semi sweet) 1. Line an 8×8-inch square pan with foil, leaving enough to hang over the sides, then butter the foil. Set aside. (I just butter dish) 2. In a medium saucepan, melt the ½ cup of butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs until completely combined and smooth. Spread the peanut butter mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. 3. In the now-empty saucepan, melt the ¼ cup unsalted butter. Add the chocolate and stir until almost completely melted. Remove from heat and continue stirring until completely melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and smooth into an even layer. 4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set. Remove from the pan using the foil overhangs and place on a cutting board. Use a pizza cutter to slice into 16 bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. (I just keep it in the pan/dish I use)

Paula Dean! You made my day with this video. I could listen to you talk all day, with your sweet accent, it melts my heart. I am not a real fan of social media. It is so autonomous-ppl go wacky. Years back they did you dirty. I know you don't know me, I feel that I have to say my heart broke . It is evil. How some ppl act, carry on, seemingly being cruel and mean to people. Aughhhhh. I am older so I do not accept what anyone says. I study it out in my mind. I love your cooking shows and you love of living. It is such a pleasure to have found you again. Thank you for this darling video. I am going to make this for my family and friends. Merry Christmas. I also wish you a very happy new year. Please, continue to let your light shine. Brighten people s lives. We all need the sparkle we pick up on, when we associate with 'sparkling people.' May you be blessed because of how your sparkle has lifted me. Love to all. 😊

Miss Paula I made these and a few other candies for my landscapers and mailman and for the guys that pick up the trash and recycling this year. My doorbell rang and as I’m stepping over dog & cats to answer I see it was one of the trash fellas with the can I had given their treats in. I open the door to tell him he didn’t need to bring the can back and he said, my wife would the recipe for “The Crack” I gave him this site for her to follow but she ended up face timing me so walk her through it. He was so cute he said, had he known it was so good he wouldn’t had shared it with the rest of the team. A friendship has developed with his wife and I’m helping teach her how to feed her man we FaceTime a lot of recipes and I send her to your video’s. Happy Holidays to you and your family & team. J

It truly is addictive!! I watched the book signing video and that was such fun! That looks like a great shop! Please do more like those, like when you and Eddie went to Herb Creek Nursery and 7th Heaven, those are as much fun as the cooking videos. Merry Christmas Paula, and to all your family and to Eddie and Teresa, your videos tell the true story of how you treat people- the love you have for friends like Bubbles, employees/friends like Eddie and Teresa, and the love they have for you in return❤️

Hello! Merry and Blessed Christmas to you and your family! We make this for Passover but we use sheets of matzoh instead of Saltines. These are easier to handle but when I cut it is more freeform. Also I let it sit right after it exits the oven on the counter for 5 minutes after sprinkling on all the chips, then I spread the melted chocolate smooth with a butter knife.. While the chocolate is still soft I put the chopped nuts on and since there are all these nut sensitive folks now I only add nuts to about half. My kids named it Matzoh Crack on their own. We alsways have to have it.❤️❤️❤️ I got the recipe from a math teacher named Sandy Fischer, from West Nyack, NY. A really nice lady.

OH this is a different twist on what I grew up eating as crack candy. We started out the same with the crackers and then the sugar mixture, but then we put the chocolate chips on and put it in the oven long enough to melt them enough to spread the melted mixture. Then we sprinkled nuts or colored Christmas sprinkles, mini m&ms, etc. on top and let cool. Then we would just break it up by hand into pieces.

That ladle reminds me of the ladle we drank well water from at my grandparents house. They didn't have running water, so all of their drinking water was hand drawn from their well. The water was emptied into a white porcelain bucket. The ladle was always beside the bucket. The well water was always cold, and it was the best tasting water. This is a favorite childhood memory. That bucket and ladle is now a treasured decoration in my parents' house.

My grandmother also made the best divinity. She cooked it in her genuine presser cooker - the stove top kind. She ground her pecans finely so they went through the whole candy instead of just on the surface. She made so many dozens from Thanksgiving to Christmas and gave it as gifts. She sent me a couple of pounds when I was in college. It was sooo good and I've never seen it like hers before.

Paula you're the best, I always go to your recipes to make the best food possible for my family. Here it is Christmas Eve and I'm making Christmas crack candy. I want to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas. And as soon as my Christmas crack candy is finished I'm going to start on some pecan bars because my pie pan broke. And there's nowhere to go buy one at 2:30 in the morning. My son is a pecan pie addict so pecan bars are going to have to suffice this Christmas. Thank you so much for your recipes and your dedication to good food!

Paula, my family has been making eggnog for over 100 years. A box of dryers vanilla bean ice cream, home made eggnog, 2 cups cognac, fresh nutmeg ground. You put the ice cream in a large bowl, add the eggnog, the pour in the cognac, then 2-3 dashes of the fresh nutmeg.

Mrs. Deen we make Peanut Butter Balls. You can make it any size. You mix peanut butter, butter, rice krispies and powdered sugar mix this all together and roll it into balls and place a toothpick in each ball and dip it into chocolate (semi-sweet) if you use pieces from cake supplies place add about a 1/4 pc of wax that you use for making jams and jellies. Place into fridge to set up balls. Pull toothpick out then you can drizzle chic over and cover your balls. Thank you for sharing .

I’m headed to the store to get my ingredients now! Thank you Paula. I have two grandsons (12&14) who are allergic to peanuts & they live in Spanish Ft, Ala! True southern boys ! It’s hard to cook for them around the holidays. I have to be so very careful. Put I’ll omit the nuts for theirs and I’m sure they will love it! I’ll have mine with nuts❤Merry Christmas 😍
