Loved this video! I would totally use some of the ideas if my presents weren't already wrapped (they've been done since mid November - I started early this year) Your organisational tips are so useful to me. I suffer from pretty bad anxiety and getting my life/home more organised with the help of your channel has really helped calm me down. THANK YOU! Have a wonderful Christmas!

I would love to have your wrapping inventory! So much to choose from, so nicely organized and a great space to wrap without restraints!! I love a well wrapped gift! Sometimes more than the gift itself!!!!!

This is wonderful. My sister is THE wrapping queen, but her bows are insanely beautiful and difficult. I am a horrible wrapper! But what you've shown I'm pretty sure I could do! Great tips all around. Thank you!

So helpful! I love that you don't waste paper. I even save the smallest bits as accent pieces on my handmade cards and tags...feels good to not waste any of it :)

I did this at christmas and it made so much difference and just done it again to wrap my fathers day gift from my little girl. I love the way it looks and that little extra effort makes such a big statement.

Hi Jen I pretty much wrap the same way you do and I too save the good bows and I also reuse the gift bags I have some that have been used for my husband and son for a couple of years and they still have the tags on them makes wrapping a lot easier the next year
@0JReynolds11 жыл бұрын
I also save bows, paper and bags. We do it every year and it really does save us a lot and sure beats throwing away so much. Your craft room is ideal for Christmas.

Love this video Jen~ I love receiving and giving beautifully wrapped gifts. Thanks for showing your corner to corner curling ribbon method. I learned something new. When I have tried this in the past, I end up using too much tape and none is needed in your method- plus very simple for person to open without having to get scissors.

In college back in the day (early 80s) I had a speech class and one of my presentations actually was about gift wrapping (so lame I know, but one of the categories was to show what you did at work). I had a job at a local clothing store and I worked in gift wrapping. Im one of those who loves to gift wrap. The technique your dad taught you is called Duckbill. Looks like a ducks mouth. I really loved todays vlog.TFS!

Thanks so much for this helpful video. I end up with grits that look beautifully wrapped - being a paper crafter I guess - but also that is my downfall cos everything is stuck down and it takes so long to do everything. I now can see how to get the same result but in a quarter if the time. I also loved the corner angle curling tape that looked really good. Xoxo

Great video. I believe in wrapping gifts beautifully (which can be done even using brown paper). The wrapping is an extension of the gift and greatly contributes to the pleasure of giving/receiving the gift. It says I care about you. The simplest item can be placed in a box and it will seem so much more because of the wrapping. Thank you for all the tips!

Pop-up tape and gift wrap cutters, who knew? I'm usually trying to hide the torn-up, shredded edge and hold it in place with one finger while I'm trying to unstick the strip of stuck together tape with the other. :) I view it as a coordination test.

I understand not wanting to use much tape and wrapping paper when each roll costs upwards of $10 and the tape is expensive also. I just use regular tape, I got four rolls for $3 at my local Big Lots. I once paid $5 for a roll of Rudolph wrapping paper, and it was the worst paper ever. Extremely thin and kept ripping. I learned my lesson and now go to Dollar Tree or the 99c store. They have so many pretty designs and the quality is so much better. Just because something costs more, doesn't mean it's the best. I love wrapping paper! TFS!

Lisa Whear How disgustingly rude and ignorant of you! First of all, she is a KZbin channel based on organisation and helping people be organised, so obviously she was to show how she keeps her things together during the holiday season. Next, the title of the video is how she wraps her gifts AND how she organises her gift wrapping station. There are probably over one hundred other videos on just gift wrapping, so why don't you watch one of those? Finally, her intro was actually quite short in comparison to most KZbinrs' intros, so she wasn't talking too much whatsoever. The only one talking too much is YOU, who decided they had to open their big mouth to complain about something they didn't even understand!
