Several years ago I put a holiday binder together. It has my recipes, grocery list and schedule in it. Like what to put together which day to make Christmas more enjoyable. What I've decided to do a few years ago, is have Christmas Eve dinner. Then I can just have the left overs Christmas day. Best decision ever on my part lol.

My mom started having Christmas Eve in our family when I was one. She had 6 children so Christmas Eve became the family gift giving and Christmas morning was for Santa. My mom’s now 91 and I’ll be 70 in February. We (mom, me, siblings, our kids and spouses, grown grandchildren and several of my great grandchildren) still celebrate Family Christmas every Christmas Eve.

FYI if you're going to use styrofoam with food, it's a good idea to cover it in aluminum foil first and then add it the food items. Great ideas, everything looked so fun and festive!
