Remastered in 4K and ajusted so it's not as long,
The first video I ever made with a JVC VHS-C Camcorder 33 years ago, (Can't remember the Model as I no longer have it). Made so many mistakes including not cleaning the lense after the rain.

Butlin's Ayr was a holiday camp located near Ayr in South Ayrshire, Scotland. When originally opened in 1946, it was named Butlin's Ayr, but in 1987 was renamed Wonderwest World. It closed in 1998 and re-opened in 1999 under the management of Haven Holidays who renamed it Craig Tara.

We were on holiday at Ayr in 1974 at Butlins (we are from Hartlepool) and some great tunes were frequently played over the tannoys in the fairground, along with "See My Baby Jive" by Wizzard, "Summerlove Sensation" by The Bay City Rollers and "Poppa Joe" by The Sweet. I was 11 at the time and just wished the holiday didn't end. Beautiful fun times.

This brought a massive sense of nostalgia to me. We went every year, usually the last week in June from 1988 to 1995... I swear I recognize all the faces in this video and would have been around the same age as the boy in the Umbro jumper at the time. The park looked just as I remember it. Amazing memories, thank you.

My mate from school's Dad was the manager here in 1990, we used to go for free all the time, ,oved it back then!
