Oh my God, I was just in Bishkek 3 weeks ago and has explored and hiked their National Park. Kyrgyzstan is indeed a beautiful country and extremely underrated. The Burana tower was a bit disappointing but still shows its incredible history. Keep travelling Ben, you deserve it after your exhausting stint in India.

Similar thing happened to me in Budapest, they said the special insurance Hertz made me take out for driving to Romania didn't apply so pay us $600 now. But the insurance that's automatic from my credit card applied and I got that $600 back. And I complained to Hertz here in the US, they paid me the $600 back as well and they said they stripped the franchisee of the Hertz franchise. So I made $600 and they no longer could rent cars as Hertz. Win-win.

Good stuff. I do love Kyrgyzstan! Been a couple times. Visited Issyk Kul on our way back from the mountains on one occasions. In the summer the beaches are busy and the waters good for swimming. Bishkek is actually an amazing place for a pissup too!
