"Holidays in Bavaria 2021 Ostallgäu" - Part 1
Travel vlog from the trip to the Bavarian Ostallgäu in summer 2021.

This time a short trip to the beautiful Ostallgäu in our Bavarian homeland. When we arrive in Füssen, we naturally have a look at the famous "Lechfall". A truly spectacular nature show! The Lechfall is an approximately twelve-meter-high, full-width weir on the Lech, on the southern outskirts of Füssen. Absolutely worth seeing! After a little stroll through the old town of Füssen (without camera), we drive to Roßhaupten at the lake "Forggensee". About 12 km north of Füssen. We will eat and spend the night in the restaurant "Taormina", which also has its own guest rooms. - The next morning after breakfast we go to the nearby lake Forggensee. A round lake trip by boat is planned. And of course, there are then also the royal palaces... But more about that soon in the second part. See you then, bye...
My recommendation:
Eat and stay at the "Ristorante - Pizzeria - Pension Taormina" in Roßhaupten, Füssenerstr. 6, at the lake Forggensee!
Located in the heart of the Ostallgäu, i found what I was looking for for our short trip. The family-run restaurant also offers overnight stays and has absolutely convinced us! Very clean and spacious room with private bathroom (we also had a balcony), TV, radio and free WiFi is also available, the breakfast was plentiful and excellent and the service really very friendly and helpful! In the evening we ate on the large and cozy terrace. Our dinner was just fantastic! Compliments to the "chef kitchen"! Vincenzo Taormina and his family offer a perfect overall package that i can only warmly recommend. We also found the price / performance ratio to be very good! Many thanks also to Jessy for the warm welcome! We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Greetings to the Taormina family and your team.
