How to install a Holley 302-1 LS Oil Pan on a 5.3L Gen III LS Engine (L59)
You will need:
Engine Hoist and Engine Stand (be careful)
Torque Wrench in "ft lbs" and "in lbs"
LS oil pan gasket (Fel-Pro OS30693R)
12625031 Dip Stick Tube
12634547 Oil Level Indicator
Blue Loctite
Black RTV
Oil Filter Options - AC Delco PF48 or PF48E - Mobile M1-113 - WIX 57060 - K&N 1017

Holley uses the new (2007+) metric thread oil filter adapters on their pans. You could have pulled the old oil filter adapter from the old pan and installed it into the Holley one. That's what I did, so I didn't need to remember to buy a different type of filter. Great video. I had to clearance the windage tray as well, fairly easy process. Great video!

Not sure on that one, check out their website and try to see where the crossmember sits in relation to the engine 🤔

You didn’t have to modify the windage tray? I just got this exact pan for my lq4 I don’t think I’m gonna have to modify it

I did have to modify it just around where the pickup tube bolts down; if it doesn't sit flush you'll need to grind out the windage tray until it does 👍

Like an LS swapped e36? I don't believe this pan would fit a BMW engine 🤷‍♂️
