i bought my c6z with heads/cam already done...got a great a deal on it. only makes 575 wheel though. i'd definitely take my car to you guys if it were stock. sucks not knowing the exact specs on the car but like i said, got a great deal on it. guessing from the power level my car has stock, milled heads...maybe light port work. it's fast enough for me

A dyno is just a tuning tool.. yours could read 600 on their dyno.. or it could ready 560.. this is why they do a run before touching anything.. the end number doesn't mean anything.. it just shows the gains you made from stock, or when dropping it off.. a 575 wheel c6z is fast as shit... If you wanna go faster on occation, put in a 150shot.. and it will blow your mind..

Depends on your cam size along with how much the heads were ported.

It's nothing to take the heads and cam out and measure it all to get the specs for a shop like this. Then you decide to keep or upgrade at that point.

@@wesleybeeson1818 on ls3’s it’s good to change the timing chain tensioner because they break, so you gotta remove the oil pump, problem is getting the pickup tube bolt, that’s the pain in the ass of the entire Cam swap

Any 6 Gen Camaro owners have trouble shifting 2-3 at WOT? rest of the gears are fine for me but I've missed third really bad like 10 times. I'm starting to worry about destroying the synchros and the gear itself. I think it may be my hand placement on shifter... just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. Just feels like I'm hating a wall sometimes. Car has 3700 miles and I want to keep it for a while, I'm worried I've done some damage, any thoughts?

It's been a long ass time since I've had my camaro. Had a 98 z28. But I can say I learned alot about small things from the forums out there. Might wanna try and look some up. Im sure someone has ran into that issue. Maybe solved also?

@@Badazz08 thanks for the reply. I think I'm just getting used to car still. My everyday is a civic SI with a very smooth, forgiving transmission. The throw is a lot longer than the pretty short throw shifter that's in the camaro. I went out the other night and just practiced 2-3 shift and I didn't miss it at all. I was trying to shift too fast and I think I was already coming off the clutch before it engaged third. Hopefully hitting the track this summer so some more practice I think I'll be alright. I did check out the forums and some other guys said the same thing. Most of the people that replied just said we're shifting too fast

I was shopping around for intake manifolds a lil while ago and was advised against getting an intake like that they said it would lose power because those intakes aren’t really for an NA set up but more for a boost applications. Grant it, it was for a 5.7 challenger and not an LT1 car but interesting results.

Mmx told me the opposite currently building a 454 hemi they said I would gain more N/A power but I would have to buy that and a custom hood to fit the Intake said it could be up to 5k and based on this video 30 horsepower ain’t worth 5k. I’ll keep my stock intake.

Holley states these are for larger displacement on LS they recommend 6.0 and bigger so I could see why you would be recommended against it on a 5.7. As it’s to small maybe if it had goods heads and cam for the air flow or if you were forced induction

Well that’s the game of NA. Boost is for people who want the easy route. You can never look at it as only 30 hp. NA it’s the combination of parts that adds up the hp. Any and everything you can get is significant.

The high ram is a heat soak Queen, after a few pulls the stock intake manifold would out perform the present build. Put a pro charger on with a chiller and you gave a total beast.
