I do not know what cam you are using but never go over 28deg max on ignition timing. 24deg is more normal. The LS combustion chamber is very efficient and does not need a lot of timing. Yes it may make more power but only for a while until you melt a piston.

I respectfully disagree. 24° may be normal to you but Timing has alot of variables. (I've personally seen 30°+ at 6k rpm.) I'd also say the LS is OK in efficiency. Put two more valves per cylinder and at leat one cam over head should put the LS into good efficiency.

If I got the terminator x max ls1 24x (550-919) am I restricted ls1 motors or am I able to go any 5.3 4.8 6.0 with the system ? Got it for a steal on market place lol thanks in advance haven’t gotten a clear answer

You should be able to run any 24x engine off it. So most 4.8, 5.3,5.7, and 6.0 from before 2006ish.
