Awesome stuff. You probably think I'm nuts, but I'd pay good money for you to make a course where you show this but with you talking about EVERY decision process for every change as you go through tuning a car from scratch. I'm not kidding. I live fairly close. I'd pay for you to explain all of the decisions as you tune a car like this.

Such an incredibly detailed walkthrough, you answered pretty much all of my final questions regarding how you determine fuel table cell values, shutting down the learn function and actually editing on the fly, just following the closed loop compensation is brilliant. I've got a Gen II Hemi that was one of the first engines I played with EFI on, and it was a Holley HP system to boot. It's turned into a long term project that's had changes along the way, and now it's going back on the (engine) dyno, I am so looking forward to how I stumbled through the program, completely relying on target AFR to tune for me. I fully expect to start from scratch, I just wish I was doing this weekly rather than a handful per year (Terminator/HP stuff, I do lots with Sniper) so I could retain my knowledge. Thanks so much for the information, you are most generous. I'm no where near you so I won't be taking any of your clients. 🤣

Joe, I see that you were really having to work on the IAC settings. I saw that Warr performance throttle body and I’m having similar issues with mine. It seems like the IAC flows more air than a stock IAC passage, so it makes it overreact. I’m using HP Tuners so it’s quite a bit more challenging because I can’t make idle adjustments in real-time. It sure is nice that the Holley has that capability. I appreciate your videos because you show the behind the scenes issues that a tuner has to go through. For some reason people think you can throw the car on the dyno and have it finished in less than an hour. I tune a lot of LS swaps and there’s ALWAYS something that needs attention.

Joe, im currently helping a friend out with a very similar setup, and was wondering if you had any info on why the live cursor is not working for us? If I start a data log I can open the gauge panel and see live data from there, but other than that im not getting any live information from the ECU whatsoever. Thanks in advance!

Ive been trying to get my NA 5.3 to idle but I cannot get it below 1200 RPM. I have the IAC taped off and the throttle blade fully shut. Ive messed with every idle setting in the terminator software and cant get the idle below 1200. Any suggestions?

I’m having my terminator x installed and I have no idea how to tune it besides doing it on the handheld monitor. I have ported 243 heads , ported Tbss intake , btr stage 4 cam , trunion upgrade, Ls7 lifters, 92mm throttle body. I have watched your videos over and over and I still have no clue.

Steady state dyno. Can hold the engine at any rpm i want and it will stay there regardless of throttle/power/boost etc. it’s an amazing feature

Nope. My tables just go all white for 20 seconds at a time sometimes but it’s the computer not the software. Restart it it or updating it fixes it every time
