I love Path of Pain so much… I remember doing it 1 or 2 times, without finishing it at first, just to progress, then sitting down on a Saturday for 9hrs straight playing it. What I did to pause or take a breather is not leave the game but just.. pause it and eat and then go back. What mostly helped me is searching up “path of pain” in youtube just to see how others did it. fireborns video kinda helped me out he’s very smart

you can stall on walls by activating crystal dash and deactivating it before you actually get launched, which gives you the wall cling type hitbox that you can use to get by some of the sawblades, like you did with mantis claw but without sliding down also hiveblood can help if theres ever an area without a totem where u dont get enough soul

Time to relate my experience :) You actually did it far faster than me, I took way too long for room 1 part 1 (I'll use r#p#), but something you missed entirely that would have made your life far easier is cdashstall. Just continuously use cdash to not fall from walls and not put yourself at risk with claw. Then it was room 2, took a while, I actually died to r2p2 because of the lack of totem, and also struggled a lot with r2p4, but for r2p4.1 (It isn't a checkpoint so yes) it was easy because of cdash strats, using cdash on the upper saw to skip half the room, and then exit before it hits you. Then for room 3, it was easy, at leas part 1, because of side saw pogo, on the part you have to go left to climb you can just use the saw that moves really up to pogo on it's side and reach the ledge, and importanly cdashstall. And r3p2 took me a while, mainly the second saw jump on the thorn tunnel. And well, final room is final room. What do I say, kingsmolds easy and win. I felt really happy. About the video, it was really good, but 20 mins felt a bit too long for the subject, and I skipped what I felt was boring, but still watched. Aside of that, good job. And you know, steel soul kingsmolds death :))))))))) Also, I'll wait for the P5AB video some day :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
