Hollow Knight: Godmaster - Pantheon of the Artist (All Bindings)

Completing the second pantheon with all bindings active. Apparently Oblobbles are my weakness and my tennis buddy Marmu nearly gets me.
My main file has Zote dead so to not easy mode the third pantheon I will have to do it in Godseeker mode.

Paintmaster Sheo is probably my favorite boss, just because of how he uses a different color of paint for each move, and how the paint gets splattered all over the arena.

@@bion2884 if it helps, stand in the middle and just shade dash the first bounce everytime and mammus 2nd one will be much more predictable. Repeat every time it resets it's position.

Artist and Master aren't that that bad, but Sage has collector, GPZ and a few other major nuisances. Good luck if you're going to try it!

I actually have beaten it but I'm not happy with the time so I will give it a few more tries. It seems Collector usually puts me in a bad spot to where I don't really recover until Grimm.

I feel like the collector is pretty easy and fast if you keep an eye on everything. Used to be annoying but now it’s one of my favorite fights

Collector isn’t even hard he’s just annoying because 70% of the battle is fighting his minions since you can’t only hit him 1-3 times every 10 seconds

For me, Broken Vessel was a struggle for some reason when I did all binding, but I did Sheo on my first try and never died to Marmu or Oblobbles... it's kinda sad really

There's usually a boss that gives folks trouble. Sheo is on the easier side of things. Marmu and Oblobbles are more annoying bosses that can trip you up pretty easily.

4 binding Flukewurm should be very tricky to pull off.

Surprisingly it's not that bad. The main reason Flukemarm isn't really doable with the old nail and no charms/spells is from the adds taking three hits to kill. By the time you kill them, more are already out so you get overwhelmed pretty fast. On the other hand, even with the nail binding you still kill the adds in one hit.

It’s all fun and games until both of the oblobbles corner you and fire their repulsive spit at you and make you restart, phase two all bindings oblobble is easier than both moving slowly.

What do the Bindings do?

They weaken you while you complete the pantheon. Nail binding reduces nail damage (by 50%?), Charm binding makes all charms inactive, Shell binding sets your max HP to 4, and Soul binding sets your maximum stored soul to 33% of your main container (so you can only heal or cast one spell at a time).

It lowers nail damage. You'll do 13 damage with the pure nail instead of 21. The damage values for each nail are 4/7/10/13/13 with the nail binding instead of 5/9/13/17/21.

Yes, they will still boost your damage. You'll do about 20 damage with strength and nail binding.

Charm binding will deactivate all charms - you won't be able to use any charms during your attempt in that pantheon. Shell binding sets your base health to 4 masks (charms can boost it if you aren't using the charm binding). Soul binding deactivates all soul vessels and sets your main soul bar to only hold 33% soul, so you can only cast one spell or heal one mask at a time.

Yes, quite a few. Inside is a blue lifeblood orb you can dream nail and then lifeblood cocoons spawn in the rooms with benches during the pantheons for a little extra help. I received three lifeblood hearts for the bare minimum to open the door.
