Hollow Knight: Godmaster - Pantheon of the Master (All Bindings)

Clearing the first pantheon with all bindings. It could be done better and faster, but the job is done.
I've been meaning to work on the pantheons with all bindings but there's a lot of content in Godmaster to play with and many boss challenges to complete. Hopefully I will have more to post with this soon.

I just tried this one time for the lolz and the run surprisingly ended at Soul Warrior. I've been meaning to attempt AB once I finish the rest of the bindings and PoH.

Meanwhile I'm over here having such a time with my key controls that I'm basically rendered nail-only unless I can somehow figure out a better setup. Mind you, the game itself defaults with jump, slash, and dash as Z, X, and C, while the Superdash, Dream Nail, and spell keys are all in the row directly above. If I put the first three on the row above the spell keys, suddenly the first finger that moves when I enter a fight is the one on A, the FOCUS button!

gl, I recommend using a controller. I use a switch controller personally and have tried keyboard once, but absolutely hated it and couldn't even beat gruzmother

From a fellow Kb+M player who just beat P1 ab this week: if you're used to how other games handle controls, set movement to wasd and spacebar, attack to LMB and dash to RMB. Focus is Q because you can only use it with an opening and quick cast is a mouse thumb key but you can set that to any easily accessed button. I set dream nail and C-dash to X and C because you don't really need to access them quickly at all

Bragging rights. Completing all bindings opens up the Land of Storms but you don't need to do all bindings for each pantheon to unlock it. You can do the bindings one at a time.

@@utkukaragoz8751 From the wiki: After completing any Pantheon in Godhome with any number of bindings active, notches will glow above the door to the left side of the entrance to the Hall of Gods. Each notch corresponds to a unique binding completed (doing a binding that has already been completed before will not count towards opening the door), and the minimum number needed to open the door is 8. Using the Dream Nail on the blue dreamcatcher will add Lifeblood Cocoons to every bench in the Pantheons. The number of Lifeseeds that spawn from the Cocoons depends on the number of bindings completed: Completing 8 bindings - 3 Lifeseeds per Cocoon. Completing 4 more bindings (12 total) - 4 Lifeseeds per Cocoon. Completing 4 more bindings (16 total) - 5 Lifeseeds per Cocoon.

What exactly nail binding does?

I'm pretty sure it makes whatever your nail upgrade is revert back to old nail only for the pantheon.

It reduces the damage of your nail. From what I've heard from datamining on HK Discord it gets set to 13 damage (equivalent of nail 2) unless you have a weaker nail in which case it's a % reduction. Not sure how much. I accidentally started pantheon 4 with all bindings on my old nail file and didn't realize until No Eyes was taking forever to kill. So apparently the old nail also gets a reduction.

Firstly, there is a guide (in Steam, I think) that teaches you every move by every boss and how it can be dodged. Try to find and read that. Secondly, see what kind of situation gets you hit (for example, you see yourself retreating a lot and you're quickly cornered), then either try to think of a way to not get into that situation in the first place or to escape it quickly enough. I the idea doesn't come to you, watch how others do it, and try to imitate them.

They are challenges, each binding add a difficulty in the pantheon : Nail : Your nail is fully downgraded, dealing minimal damages Shell : You only have 4 mask Charms : Charms are disabled Soul : Your soul tank is very limited

If you hear them shouting as cue to charge a nail art be ready to jump. Oro usually jumps away when he'll do a dash slash. With cyclone slash you have a good bit of time to adjust your position (and possibly heal if you don't have to move much). If you have to pass through the center watch how both attack to get them both on one side. Using descending dark for s can also help.
