Hi Holly, as someone who has been working in the hospitality industry for 10 years, and being made redundant during lockdown II due to falling profits, please try to avoid bringing your own food into cafes. Even more so as an influencer, for this is not something I would advise you to influence others to mimic (and 'normalise'). Most eateries actually have policies in place to prevent people bringing in their own food. Even if you're buying a drink (e.g. your hot chocolate) or another small item at the cafe, it's seen as rather discourteous. Particularly at a time when hospitality is really struggling. Thanks!

Hey Holly, when you travelled around Spain did you buy a pass or just separate tickets? What did you use to do this (websites etc), was it just trains/buses you used and was it expensive? I know you travelled with others but would you say it's safe to go solo? Thanks!
@HollyGabrielle2 жыл бұрын
so we bought separate tickets, because everything was very spontaneous and it wasn't usually very expensive at all when we were moving between cities! we mostly got buses, and dan did a lot of the bookings for us all, but i think he used like Flixbus most often and then maybe also trainline! as you said, i was in a group in spain, but it generally felt very safe! the only slight issue we ran into was in barcelona, where there seemed to be a lot of pickpocketing! . . . but please don't let that put you off!

I’ve got a question aside from health benefits leading to an environmental aspect, eating meat products that are local isn’t too bad for the Earth realistically same could be said about vegetation that it’s harmful if it’s transported in metal vessels that weigh multiple tonnes that travel hundreds of miles in the sea/air
@rachelk22562 жыл бұрын
It is extremely harmful as animals are killed firstly which should be the number one reason to be vegan!! Also, the energy that goes into raising an animal to eat and pump them with chemicals is bad for the environment. For animals to be so “rich in nutrients” they are essentially pumped with chemicals to make them grow to a size that is un natural and harmful for them. It is without. A doubt one of the cruellest industries that exists. Hope this helps you understand more ! 😊
@maneskinnnnn71902 жыл бұрын
what about the innocent animal being slaughtered and abused just so you can eat meat? when you could just as easily have a vegan meat alternative. Also, local farms and agriculture, even a small farm in your town is destroying the environment, the practices these farms use have resulted in a 60% loss of biodiversity, and destroy the local ecosystems.

@@maneskinnnnn7190 so true!
@aaronk7816 Жыл бұрын
@@rachelk2256 ofc animals will be killed it's part of the natural environment for human purposes. Energy would be needed to grow an animal but chemicals, I mean that's not really true or at least even this is true within mainstream sources, it's not a good reason to completely abandon meat by such a practice. It can be a cruel industry within most of the industry but the incentive should be to better these practices, it is too radical to cut it out completely.
