J’ai vu un reportage sur ce musée et je souviens ,qu’avant on trouvait du Max Factor en France dans les grands magasins. Le mascara ( avec pinceau qu’il fallait mouillé ) est celui qu’avait ma maman dans les années 60.

Oh wow! This is fantastic! I was in Los Angeles last spring and didn’t know what places to visit. I didn’t even know of this museum (studio?) and wish I had - the makeup, photos, studio look so gorgeous. Almost like a time machine. Now I want to go back just to visit Max Factor’s studio! Thank you for this.

Marilyn Monroe's grave 🪦 is also very close by. It's very easy to miss if you aren't careful. The cemetery 🪦🪦🪦 has tons of very famous celebrities buried there. The cemetery is located in the middle of very tall buildings and the driveway to it has a sign up with the name, it's an unexpected turn. Anyways I went to the Max factor museum,it was incredibly hot 🔥🥵 in September. We saw Marilyn Monroe's dresses and some of her shoes and jewelry. I enjoyed seeing her things, but I also felt that building wasn't good enough for her! As we walked around looking at everything I began to get dizzy and feel incredibly sick, I had eaten and I felt totally fine prior to the visit. I'm not a medium and I don't do any of that stuff, but I have seen spirits since I was pretty young, like 4 . I felt like I was being watched in there by something, we then came to the section where they had the I love Lucy exhibit. The TV was playing episodes of the show, and I stood there watching it , and I realized,I was standing in a building of fake memories, memories that never happened, memories that we're forced to happen because of a script! The thought of all of it made me so sick I started to have a fever! We drove a long way to get there so we walked through quickly! The horror section was filled with dread! I almost fainted twice, and my heart rate was up❗ Once we left and got to Marilyn Monroe's grave my fever 🤒 was gone and I was completely fine, once again ❗ Westwood village memorial park cemetery 🪦Glendon ave. It's a beautiful cemetery and very peaceful!

@@stardustgirl2904 it sounds like you may have experienced an anxiety attack, like maybe it was all too overwhelming. I felt that way in a church in Chicago once. I think it was because my friend had just told me she’d gone temporarily blind and deaf (maybe ten seconds or so) at Sunday Mass and I was thinking about that and frightened. Then again, maybe you sensed something. 🤷♀️ I don’t think I’d be very interested in the horror section, but the glamour part of the museum looks so beautiful! Did you see Natalie Wood, Gene Tierney? They were probably playing I Love Lucy episodes because that’s what she’s so famous for. But I wouldn’t say the memories were fake, they really recorded those shows. They were a major part of her (and Desi’s) life. So, though the show is obviously fictional, I honestly just think they were honoring Lucy for what everyone loves most about her. They wouldn’t have footage of her day to day life, it sounds really nice to me. I hope you enjoyed the museum overall. I can’t wait to visit there!

@@cici2562 Since I was a little girl, I have experienced ghosts and seen evil one's as well! I have also experienced this in the Whaley house in San Diego, but there was a woman crying 😭 in the court room dressed in black, it was errie! We only walked through the horror section, because the museum was kinda small. What I meant was, the memories didn't happen to real people, they were fake from a script ❗ I know they filmed stuff , anyways have a day. I'm falling asleep now.
