Take a look at this cool thing, a party-themed episode of the nighttime Hollywood Squares! In a way, this was like Storybook Squares with the stars in costume and the self-contained format, but normal contestants were playing and the set was rather classy!

@PsYcHoFaB Yup and after being on the show for almost 9 years can take it's toll on someone, and on Paul Lynde's biography which is on you tube, it was mentioned that he felt trapped and people always refered to him as the person in the centre square.

You can tell that Paul was growning tired of Hollywood Squares by this point, you can tell by some of his facial expressions.

He returned in the final season when Hollywood Squares moved from NBC studios to the Riviera in Las Vegas in 1981. AND I still hate that 'super loud' horn Peter calls 'tacky buzzer' signally the end of the show.
