Moving inmates to make room for anticipated arrest. Is this not a form of entrapment in a way. Like that means he premeditated arresting multiple, dozens of people while being paid to run security. Now I am not familiar with these Grey lines. But I feel like this was a charade to pocket extra bucks.

Actually our Sheriff did his job and checked with law enforcement at previous Sol Fest locations so he would have an idea of what to expect. He took that information and prepared accordingly. There is a reason Holmes County has one of the highest crime clearance rates in Florida. If the folks who got arrested didn't want to get arrested, perhaps they should have followed the law.

Do you move inmates for the anticipated arrests for the Super Bowl or NYE or any other large event? There was 10,000 people which doesn’t even compare to other large scale events that do not face nearly this much criticism. Harassment is the main motivator here and don’t let the skewed narrative distract.

De-escalation should be the first tactic that police officers use. If there isn't a problem, don't make it a problem. These officers not only escalated a situation where there was no threat of death or great bodily harm, they caused complete chaos in a festival with thousands of people, just to make money off throwing innocent people in jail. They got what's coming to them. Now they're in the hole by tens of thousands of dollars. My only wish is that didn't come out of taxpayers pockets, even if the taxpayers in that town are old ass boomers that didn't welcome fellow Americans into their town despite the revenue the festival brought.
