I appreciate this series for putting in all the emoi moments which would have been lost in piles of early archived otherwise, these boys are so sweet, funny and talented. Seeing PBB talk about not having any accomplishments in his name made me think of all the achievements he's accomplished this year. He's become known for so much, and everytime it comes through his own hard work to take initiative! (Taj Mahal, Apex tournament, 24 hour unarchived unmonetized karaoke, Ollie's aniki, Amelia's respectable friend, and being one of the best english speakers in Holostars)

@@geasstk1334 All us Astellas feel the same but it seems to just be because there is a chance the copyright may be tracked back to him and he doesn't want to deal with it (It is mostly Disney after all). Also, he monetizes his singing streams so that if that were found out that'd be a problem too.

Antis would also go out of their way to report him and snitch on him , using what they clipped as evidence . If its that risky then i dont get why he goes this far using such lenghts , if he did it like the other members , it would not only bring him more recognition but earn him more money on the long run . Well all we can do is respect his wishes untill he changes his mind in the near future i guess

Like during the tournament scrims , there was some toxic people coming and leaving dumb remarks , just because Astel killed Kuzuha team a few times , they attacked Matsuri aswell , so the more they participate in tournaments/get more into the spotlight , the more they'll attract Antis

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, Shien being insecure about his voice really hits too close to home. Specially since I’m often told that I speak like a drunkard or my voice sounds like one. I learned to accept and adapt it, but I still feel a little insecure. It was when I discovered Hololive (I watched HoloEN first but after learning that there are a lot of members that I started branching out) and watched one of Roberu’s stream that made me realized something about myself which is when I started trying to experiment with my voice (mostly singing out of tune and sending them to our group chat and trying different ranges of voice). It gave me a slight boost of confidence and helped me appreciate my voice more. Thank you for whole compilation and kudos to everyone's effort, you all did well.

Every holostar member: still sounds like themselves from beginning till now Roberu: sounds polite at beginning and immediatelly turn to himselves just like that Among all holostars i started with roberu bcoz he's not just funny but the only vtuber that i know that use kansai dialect at that time based from fubuki and matsuri collab, now look at him with his 128k parents. He really did his best until now... Also don't forget others too like pbb astel, bossu shien and evryone from holostars who's getting rapid growth these days As always thanks for this amazing rewind really worth it

I've only recently gotten into holostars because of the algorithm, which is great imo, so that everyone can discover the guys more, but that aside, I'm really happy to have known that they've always been here, but kinda sad at the same time that I've only met them NOW. Nonetheless, it's been fun the past three days binging translated clips of them and their game plays, and just caught up to watching some of their lives yesterday. I don't know much japanese, but I'm actually thinking of learning the language for real to support them and their fellow Japanese vtubers, as well as for future purposes. May they have another blessed year.

Truly a fantastic video. Both Holostars videos have really blown me away as someone who knew nothing about them. This video started off with Astel, who's design I was never a fan of from what I saw online. Little did I know I'd be having a crisis in the premiere chat 3 minutes into his bit over how amazing he is. This was beautifully done. I know I had said in a previous post that I don't watch Holostars but that changed real quick after that thanks to Astel dropping into Ollie's stream with a impromptu Apex collab. Those 30 minutes was all it took for me to become a fan and get my first Holostars sub, what a great dude. The day after I caught his stream where he was doing karaoke while playing Apex and boy oh boy does he have a great voice and coupled with that level of play was simply amazing. Anyways I hope I get to watch more Holostars clips and streams and end up subbing to all of them. Thanks for making these great rewind videos and making me aware of how awesome these guys are!

Thank you for the wonderful video. I think I'll be echoing the sentiments of a lot of other people here, but these boys truly deserve more attention. They are all so talented in what they do and so incredibly humble and gracious with their viewers. I'm so excited that they are gaining subscribers at an exponential rate these days. My personal recommendation is to check out Astel (PBB) and Temma as their streams are gold mines of fantastic content. With that said, Robera, Shien and Oga (and the first gen boys) are great as well!

Forgot to comment but thank you for all the hard work that was put into the rewind series!! 2020 was honestly a huge year for Holostars and it's when I discovered them and Vtubers as a whole ^^ I'm really glad that everyone grew so much- now that Temma's reached 50k, everyone is now over that 50k threshold.
