He's in a lot of stuff worth watching and I highly recommend looking up some of his Saturday Night Live skits too. Your reactions to comedies are always a lot of fun! Infectious laughter. The whole bit with the car being more and more destroyed through the course of the movie is actually a comedy trope. It’s likely you’ll see that comedy trope play out again in another movie some time. So if you like buddy/road comedies, I’m going to recommend a film. It’s definitely a buddy comedy, with kind of a road movie element. That is if you broaden your understanding of “roads”. There’s definitely a lot of traveling in this movie. “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989) This is a very original and highly creative comedy.

We always had fun with guys from the city that would come visit their family and want to do stuff so we’d take them out “cow tipping” and just watch them attempting to do it. They were always afraid to actually touch the cow. My wife when we first met had a 1991 Acura that had those seat belts and I couldn’t stand them. The scene at the hotel when David Spade does the housekeeping joke he actually did that to Chris Farley at the hotel they were staying at and Chris fell for it every day.

I don't know for sure, but I believe the college campus at the beginning is supposed to be Marquette University in Milwaukee, which is where Chris Farley went to college. Farley played intramural rugby at Marquette, and he the blue jacket he wears at the beginning is the jacket of their team. I believe the actual campus they used, which I'm guessing is because it's cheaper to film there, is the University of Toronto.
