I struggled for many years over denominational differences. After 50 yrs, now in my senior years, I have come to realise tat a lot of it is jus human weakness at work. Surely t focus must be Jesus, His Ministry & the Trinity? And we must never lose our focus.

I too i like to sing the song you sang. But when you sang i remember my favorite song and like to the hear the song that you sang. We are different religion worshipping the same God almighty Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. Our problem is this that i know mary the righteous woman and four sons she had born from Joseph who is her husband and it will hard for me to say mary is a mother if Jesus Christ because she had married Joseph first when she give birth to Jesus Christ. She is righteous in God almighty Jehovah i respect her that she born the holy lamp of God. Only that i can do because Jesus Christ who had come comes in my dreams twice he will let me to know. I am sorry maybe i hurts you may God Jehovah forgive me. Why does this question have to be asked? Are Catholics not allowed to sing to Jesus in Heaven? God put song in all our hearts. No matter what church one goes to (or not even) God puts the words in the minds of those who put them to music. I love Gregorian chant too, and we do some of it (not nearly enough) in the Cathedral Choir that I sing with. But this IS worship music too and God is glorified by it.

@@annap7678 Thank you for being a part of your choir. I want to clarify that I don’t mean to suggest that this music doesn't glorify God-it clearly has that intention. However, when I hear this style during Mass, it tends to distract me from prayer and reflection. That's why I attend a parish with Gregorian chant.

I just spent the past weekend in Waco, Tx. at DCYC their music is so moving and spiritual. They are amazing. I was actually in the elevator with Lauren at the hotel once such a nice lady. Thank you for an amazing experience. The Holy Spirit was definitely present.
