27:01: Yes. It did say Max life becomes just 1. Why do that? It’s because of the second line. You become fully immune to Chaos type damage. Which is also the same damage which Bypasses the Energy Shield mechanic, which normally gets lowers on hits before your life does. So this is a classic Poe 1 combo that allows you to decide to fully invest into Energy shield and ES recovery ways, usually in order to have a Much higher pool than life could give you. With some downsides like life flasks don’t affect energy shield.

honestly, for all the "galaxies" you see, the only few you care are skill, atlas, and the trees you like to do e.g. breach and bosses, and you can ignore the rest or come back to them next time... the other systems are just other ways to help you progress the atlas (the endgame itself)

If you watched this and felt overwhelmed by all the content you just saw, I want to tell you is not as complicated as it seems, that "constellation" of passive tree has a lot of options but it is divided in 3 parts, strength, intelligence and dexterity, is as simple as that, focus on one part depending on your class and you'll be fine. The complexity comes from wanting to know everything at once, this game has a lot of different mechanics, just focus on one until you learn it, is a bit like BDO. PoE is a marathon not a race, except it can also be a race if you want to compete with other players xD

"Kiwi as pets ?" that's because the makers of game are New Zealand Based, so adds something unique to there game that give a obvious symbol of where they are based. Same goes for all the Māori style art, gear, theology base added twist to game.

I like how they made the trees simpler and there aren't as many. I highly recommend trying path of exile before playing poe 2. At the very least just play through the campaign. It's entirely free.

Agree, I picked PoE 1 in this settlers league so I can be ready for PoE 2, got hooked and invested 1k hours this league, I've played a bit before but this is the first time I feel like I understand the game now

You will have a lot of fun with PoE2, I have been playing PoE1 with some rl friends since PoE1 came out in alpha many years ago. I think you have the potential to do well as a PoE streamer if you want to add that to the games you focus on streaming because the vast majority of PoE streamers are just people who are playing PoE, they don't really work on being entertaining and rely on people just having interest in the game. The few streamers that focus on being entertaining tend to do pretty well in terms of viewer numbers. There are going to be A LOT of D4 refugees playing PoE2, I heard from one streamer that they already have half a million of the paid EA keys and I think the best PoE1 league was in the 400k range so I think the EA will be massive and they will be getting something like Lost Ark numbers when it gets the ftp release. These numbers are also without the Chinese market, Tencent services the Chinese section of the game and their numbers aren't part of the GGGs numbers.

It definitely doesn't seem that way, at least not for a while. They have a host of things planned, stuff they already have their eye on for when server fills up, and content to release for like 2 seasons. It all depends on the voices of non-old PoE players

you should really play POE 1 when new leagues come out. You won't feel behind while playing honestly. The seasonal wipes with new mechanics means every league you have an opportunity to be learning the new mechanics along with everyone else, and the other mechanics you can ignore or play the ones that interest you. It's essentially a challenge based theme park at the end where you get to pick the type of content you want to spend time playing.

Thats false and new players getting overwhelmed never just stopped and took there time to read the skills and realize the tree aint that complicated or overwhelming in the first place. Then the end game is the same thing expect one league mechanic

PoE1 being not casual-friendly is true, but not against new players. It's complicated but fairly simple to learn, just annoying to get good at. (Midgame sucks for me, trying to get better gear while also having correct sockets) However PoE2 has fixed that by making skill gems seperate from gear socketing, so it's VERY approachable now. It just looks like a lot, but really its the same as like FF14, just pick 1 or 2 activities at endgame you want to focus on, then learn more as you go.
