Big ups to Ciate for something new BUT they are still sorta gimmicky to me. It gets us riled up because we are LONGING for creativity in makeup lately BUT at the end of the day this is a glitter lipstick and we are getting sucked in by the transformation which is a VERY small part of it and something that doesn't add to your makeup in a noticeable way vs regular glitter lipstick. Now if it could transform back and forth between metallic/matte to glitter, THAT would be worthy of the "transformation" claim. I feel like this product is trying to come off as "You can have matte or glitter" it's misleading because you really can't, unless you keep your lips apart all day you're gonna always end up with glitter lips. It would be like a normal liquid to matte lipstick marketing itself as "You can have it glossy or matte" because it's shiny for 1 to 2 mins until it dries because it's really just a matte lipstick.

Try the new Kat Von D glimmer lips! I didn't love the Ciate ones, they were difficult to get off, but flaked off in the wrong places and felt very heavy. The KVD is gooooorgeous, feels like absolutely nothing, BUT they are a stain too! So if you wear the blue, be prepared to wear the blue all day lol.

The glitter flip kinda hurt my feelings, I was just expecting sooo much more from the product. The lighter colors don't even have a transformation, you can't tell a difference. Those haven't been moving at all, most people bought them online and have been returning. But the day we got the kvd in, I wore around the store, I got stopped so much by people wanting my lips, we almost sold out of one of the colors already 😂

I'm 2 years too late but yes i have the blue and purple kvd ones and oh god the staining is pretty bad, like the colors are beautiful and so glittery but i look like i ate a smurf after taking it off and in my opinion i think they flake way more than the ciate london ones. With the kvd ones by the end of the day i have glitter flakes all over my chest 😱😓 still love both though

I'm glad I wasn't the only person who dealt with the staining and not-coming-off-EVER of this liquid lip. I thought I was just crazy, or maybe something was going wrong with the sample. I tried these out at Sephora, and while they are totally pretty... It stained absolutely everything on me. My fingers, my mouth, my lip balm! Even my visor in my car when I pulled it down to use the mirror to cover up all the staining!! So while the colors are awesome, and these darn things are just SOOO pretty, no way am I buying since I'd rather not have to deal with that ever again. Also: gotta love the snoring cat. You can hear my boy across the room, it's hysterical.

I don't have these, but I do have 3 of the Glitter Goals liquid lippies by NYX(Alienated, Amethyst Vibes, and Oil Spill). They do the exact same thing as the ones in your video, apply-dry-smack-GLITTER! I don't know what it is, but the ones by NYX are not long wearing, either. I'm a Goth who absolutely LOVES glitter and I usually wear it in my makeup, hair, clothes, and on my friends.
