Homage or Knock-off? Hroudland Chrono - Omega Speedmaster Homage under $200, Brew Metric Alternative

Today we're looking at a Hroudland Chronograph using a Miyota Quartz from AliExpress ($175) that is homaging the original 1970's 176.0014 Omega Speedmaster Reference that used a Valjoux 7750 (later became an ETA chronograph movement).
This watch features a fairly chunky integrated bracelet that can not be swapped for another band or bracelet.
I compare the watch briefly to my Omega Speedmaster Reduced and my Retro Brew Metric microbrand mechaquartz.

The seconds hand on the watch can also be optioned in three styles: airplane, triangle or needle.

Before people bash homages they need to look at the omega Michael Schumacher speedmaster. The two variants are complete rip offs of the Rolex Paul Newman Daytona. 😅

A better example might be the Seiko SSC813. I have the first Schumacher which is a speedmaster reduced, and it’s definitely trying to be a speedmaster and nothing else. There is one particular Schumacher variant that I agree looks fairly similar (3559.32.00), but honestly a lot of the broad arrow speedmasters do as well.

The airplane hand was a feature of the original Lemania 5100 movement and it was a minute hand, not a second hand. It's therefore not true the original.
