I see this on every KZbin mowing channel where an uninhabited house is not maintained and the neighbors are so happy for an outsider to mowed and cleanup that pig pen, but the neighborhood won’t to anything about it.
@UpNorthMowingDude5 ай бұрын
The couple on one side used to do it then the owner of the abandoned house got mad at them, so they stopped doing it. The guy on the other side used to do it but he's older and has heart problems so now he can't do it. No neighbor should have to maintain someone else's yard indefinitely. I can see doing it once or twice but not every week. It's hard enough doing one's own yard every week.

@@UpNorthMowingDudehow do you get paid?
@UpNorthMowingDude5 ай бұрын
@@2worlds1hope I don't get paid from the homeowners. I never ask for that. Typically it's through KZbin based on how many views your video gets, how much people engage on your page with comments and "likes", etc. I also started a "buy me a coffee" account so people can donate there if they're so inclined. Ultimately I'm not worried about the pay. I get a bigger kick out of helping people than a few bucks. I've had $100 bills in my hand and I don't remember any of them personally; but I'll never forget the people I help and the interactions I have with them. Those last a lifetime!

Surprise! Surprise! I hope you know you are showing this video on You Tube! At a certain point they pay you cash money which comes from advertisers showing commercials while your Optical Media Presentations are shown on You Tube! So if hate the media and optics then need a different hobby! You did a good job cleaning up the property even though you did not enjoy it! I SUGGEST since have 50 years in industry take a look at others in business making big money such as The Blessing Boys OR Midlife Stockman who after cleaning a property with waist high grass went to Lowes and bought them a gas can with gas and a new lawnmower so they could keep their lawn mowed! He is so popular he mows every other day for free! They make no statements about optics nor the media!

Thanks for letting me know how monetization works on YT. That's news to me bro. Most people I don't have to explain this to because they have some sense, but the media I'm referring to are news organizations. KZbin is a video-sharing website, not "media". Google it. And I don't care how often other channels mow or how many mowers or gas cans they buy. I've helped A LOT of people who needed the help and they're really grateful. Then there's you - a dude who was "in the industry for 50 years", which makes you older than the dirt I blow around, and you're angry as hell. You must be a real peach to deal with on a daily basis. Go in the sun and get some vitamin D, it'll make you less cranky.

Talking crap about others doesn't put you in a good light. It makes you seem small minded. The comments will show your worth. People do different things for different reasons and you don't know all of those reasons. You're a beginner and Johnny Come Lately. Show some respect to those who actually work in the field all day long and take time during a hard day to help others and there community. Even a perfect man would know to keep his opinion to himself. There are people that have a million subs that would never talk down about others. They are not perfect either. You could do a better job but your work passes. Now you know how it feels.
