The older I get, the more I appreciate the Old Man Marley scenes. One interesting detail is Marley's wounded hand. Yessss! My favourite Christmas film. I went to see a double feature of 1 and 2 at the cinema last weekend and it was packed with families where the children were probably seeing it for the first time and I can confirm that it still hits. I’m a teacher and every year the class votes on which holiday movie to watch on the last days of school. They almost always pick Home Alone or the second one. It’s to the point where I’ve been asked not to put it on the poll because it wins in every class and then they end up watching it repeatedly class to class lol.
