I am so grateful for you explaining the solar aspect of this! I am completely new and about to go off-grid and this information is super helpful! Thank you!

I was able to get mine up to 6000 watts at 240 volts as a whole home backup power source without issue. This Anker Solix is a beast.

And how long did it last? I would guess 30 minutes or less.

I will never buy another Anker SOLIX power station which sucks because i was a huge fan of Ankers other problems. My wife and I do a lot of camping and we needed a reliable power station, so before my Father passed away last year he bought us the Anker SOLIX C1000. This unit worked good at first and then 1 day it started smoking and a foul smell came from this unit. I ripped it off my counter in our converted van and placed it on the ground. Well being in a national campsite in Canada someone called the fire dept. I guess that is standard for this kind of issue. Well that kind of put a damper on our camping trip. I am not sure if the fire dept took my Anker SOLIX C1000 power bank but they may have because it was a bomb ready to go off again so to speak. I did try and call someone from Anker but the person I chatted with was not to interested in hearing what I had to say or what happened. Well that tells me what kind of company Anker is and my next one I buy this summer will be a Jackery Explorer series. I do not have time to sit on the phone with a company that is not interested in what I have to say or a issue with their product.

Thanks for the review. It's basically worthless compared to a small inverter generator. For the price, i can build a great 15kw system myself.
@jardinero91129 ай бұрын
Did they not send you the proper cords to use the system by charging with the pannels? You had to go out and buy more cables cause they didnt match ? I dont understand.

if i wanted to charge this with a dual fuel generator, what 25-50ft ext cord and/or adapter would i need?
@jeffmaling95777 ай бұрын
Does it charge from a gas generator? That would seem to be a common use case during a power outage. Run the generator for a few hours to charge the Anker, then use the Anker for times like overnight.

When I shopped for mine my biggest issue was is the unit trash if the battery degraded over time. I ended up getting a BLUETTI ac300 due to the inverter being separated from the batteries. So all I would have to do is get new batteries not an entire inverter unit also which is a much cheaper option.
@Gurule9 ай бұрын
wouldnt the extender batteries solve that problem? Even if the main unit one degrades

Hi, you connected 6 solar panels. 3 and 3 in parallel, splitting the panels between 2 XT60 ports. How many watts were the panels rated for? Also what is the VOC of a single panel? If the panels were 400 watts each that would allow for the max input of 2,400 watts, so long as the VOC of each panel is below 60v…if I’m correct… Please, no mathematical formulas… Thx!

yeah these things are cool, especially the Ecoflow Ultra, but in reality you need a gas, diesel, or propane generator for any long term needs...more than a day a two. Get a dual fuel, run it on propane, and you won't have the problem of gas sitting for a long time. Imagine, you buy a predator, Westinghouse, or champion 12500 dual fuel for 1500 max. Done. These power stations are just a shiny object. Good for Van Life, I own two Ecoflows, but they are not serious for home backup.

Nice info, but calling it a review coming from your own company is embarrassing. You miss very important information. For example the controllers available to connect it to my house network and identify the direction of current.

Agree totally. Impartial reviews required (not just influencers who glamour units in return for free products).

Major disappointment on solar voltage and amperage! Eco flow will wipe this one at the starting gate! This might be OK if you’re going to have a power outage overnight, but would be worthless in a long-term outage situation, even with more batteries.

Not everything is for everybody. Just as I wouldn't pay the price for any Apple products, Bose crappy speakers, or Sonos speakers. However, plenty of people do.
