Hey there and thanks for watching all the way from Melbourne ☺️ Hope to come visit as soon as the pandemic is over. Well, hard to answer. Both grinders are great but have a totally different approach of course. I use the Atom in my coffee shop and it's just insane how reliable they are - even after hundreds of coffees a day. Given that you probably won't be making as many coffees a day as I do in my shop, the Niche would be a great call too ☺️
@edwardo55553 жыл бұрын

@dritanalsela3 жыл бұрын

By putting the milk into different jugs won't it make the milk cooler?
@dritanalsela3 жыл бұрын
Hi Gary, no.. not to that extend that you would notice. The splitting into different jugs is very important to pour drinks (you can control the amount of foam depending on the drink you want to make) plus for latte art :)

Hi Dritan, when did you dial in? I read online that every bag of coffee needs to be dialed in to get the sweet spot. I also read the taste differs after time in the hopper, but i don’t see you change the grinder in your video’s. It would be helpful to me if you show that as part of your daily routine. You both are great, hospitality is on your blood. It shows! Very nice to see the love 👍🏻
@asselinpower3 жыл бұрын
Don’t worry about this, it s impossible to get a bad shot out of a GS3 😂
@dritanalsela3 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexander, thanks for watching and for your kind comment. You are right. You have to adjust the grinder when using a different coffee. In this case it was the exact same that I used earlier so the grinder was dialed in already. And yes, you shouldn't leave coffee beans in the hopper. I make sure to have used the coffee I put into it by the end of the day ☺️ Hope this helps! Appreciate your support man ☺️
@wngo703 жыл бұрын
@@dritanalsela Hello Dritan, you said you use the whole bag by the end of the day on the atom, but if you drink only 1-2 shots a day do you single dose your grinder then? Also how much coffee do you purge before grinding if you do not single dose?
@EricPetersen29223 жыл бұрын
@@wngo70 he purged a full basket at beginning of this video after he filled the hopper. That’s probably your answer. I always burn the first shot in 90% of grinders. On single dose Kafatek MAX (almost no retention) I run a small amount through just to get clean new beans at the start of each day. Maybe 5-10g a small handful.
@wngo703 жыл бұрын
@@EricPetersen2922 Yeah I meant to ask if he purges every day or not on the atom which has somer retention, but yeah thank you for the answer.

Hei Dritan! Why you move the milk from pitcher to another? And then from the final pitcher you pour back a bit..
@cyendsj3 жыл бұрын
To distribute equally the air bubbles in milk
@dritanalsela3 жыл бұрын
Hi Calin, thanks for watching. As soon as you stop texturing, the foam tends to rise to the top, milk stays underneath. By splitting and thus moving the milk, I make sure the foam stays nicely blended. Another reason: That way I can control the amount of foam that ends up in the cup. So in this case I made 2 Cappuccino with one textured jug. I split it into two jugs and thereby made sure that both drinks end up with the exact same amount of foam in each cup ☺️ And one final reason: Pouring Latte Art with a full pitcher is difficult, doesn't give you space to move. So less milk in the jug is what you want when pouring :) Hope this answers your question!

What satisfies your taste buds, that only you can answer..i did some research before i dived into espresso and the lelit temd is a good bang for bucks.. it'll deliver stable shots... the grinder is said to be ok too.. I went for a different setup last year but cuz of different reasons.. first was that i wanted to see if ill stick to espresso based drinks since i grew up drinking English tea.. then the flexibility, control and so on..
