When I put my TATA nexon ev for charging after 15 minutes red light starts blinking. Why is this issue ?

Even though I know my home charging setup is properly done, I always verify if the earthing is working or not. Everytime I charge my car, before that I just connect the plug in the socket and switch the charger on without connecting to the car. I just wait for like 5-10 seconds to confirm no other light except the first one is showing up.

One more possible problem for single green light is that you have not engaged handbrake. I also saw in one of the videos is that you also have to open and close the driver door for charger to connect.

Thanks. This was helpful. I had the handbrake on still it was not charging but on releasing it and pulling it back up the charging started. One more thing to try when it does not charge and stuck in one green led mode.

Hi today I got a new issue in charging 1,2,3 light on green mode constantly. And the display also showing connected in white not in green no time of charging is showing. 26% charging is there but still it’s not charging. What is d issue? Maybe the power supply is less try using the charger at some other location to verify if it's working fine

It is power supply issue. Off the complete power near the meter and restart it again. it works fine. Or else try to charge in a fast charger and again try it it get et automatically.@@abhinavraj1001

मेरे पास Tiago EV हैं मैं रोज चार्जिंग को कार लगता हूं तब चार्जर कनेक्ट की थोड़ी आवाज आती हैं और चार्जिंग चालू हो जाती है मगर आज चार्जर कनेक्ट होने के बाद काफी देर फैन चालू रहता है ऐसी आवाज बोनेट में से आने लगी. 2 मिनिट में मैंने चार्जर डिस्कनेक्ट कर दिया और फिर कनेक्ट करने के बाद फिर चार्जिंग चालू हो गई। मुझे यह सवाल है की वो फैन जैसी आवाज क्यूं आ रही थी और आवाज आए तो चार्जिंग करना सही रहेगा या नहीं?

चार्जर का प्लग गरम होने से होता है । पहले कन्फर्म करे की प्लग अच्छे से फिट बैठा है की नही कभी कभी हलका बैठेगा तो गरम हो जाता है

If Your fidder cable is 4sq mm & the cable from your meter to charging box is 2.5 sq mm , then it's is safe , mcb should be there

Problem solved Earlier i was using dual shoe 16A with 4mm wire 3core. And facing heating issue red light was blinking when charger was overheated. Updated to single shoe 16A, Wiring updated to 6mm single single wire and heating issue solved. Checked for 3-4 days and no red light blinking even at 45’C.

@@guruprasad101 Company will provide all of these. You don't have to do anything separately. Only if your electric meter is more than 15 meters away from your charger then you have to give 300 rupees per extra meter of cable above free 15 meters.

That’s because the plug is over heating. Record a video n show it to your service centre, the charger needs to be changed asap

There could be 2 things 1. Earthing issue at your property 2. Most common, Plug over heating issue. Just check if the plug is over heating, if it’s over heating then you need to show the charger at your service centre

I was getting similar error when charging at a relatives'' place. It was sorted when the earthing was improved. I also get similar problem once in a while on Tata Power installed set-up at my place. I have covered parking and i charge during night time hence external overheating may not be a reason.

Did you see the news about the Nexon EV fire incident in Vasai. The news said that it was a new Max edition. What scares me with our vehicles is rodents chewing on wires. That can cause fire.
