Golden Paintworks products are intended for architectural use and are designed for use on inflexible supports, such as walls, so depending on how thick the products are applied, they may be more likely to crack if used on inflexible surfaces, like canvas. Can this stuff be used for art purposes along with Golden Artists colors, mediums, at gels?

Great question! The Golden Paintworks products are intended for architectural use and have not been tested to meet the archival nature of fine art materials, nor have we tested compatibility of all the Paintworks products with all of the Golden Artists fine art products. Also, the architectural products are designed for use on inflexible supports, such as walls, so depending on how thick the products are applied, they may be more likely to crack if used on inflexible surfaces, like canvas. All that said, most of the Golden Paintworks products are acrylics and generally acrylic products are compatible. You would need to test for your application.
