I keep all my arts and crafts in a closet. I have Monday through Friday bins I use. In each bin is the craft for that day, two file folder learning games, circle time songs and musical instruments, two story books, something for a science activity, usually a picture for history that I talk about, a children’s bible I read a story from and a puppet or two for special story or songs with. I find the bins really keep me organized. I do a different theme each week so what is in the bins are theme related.

You and I are so similar. :) I bought some of those plastic crates from Walmart, stacked them on their sides in rows and columns, ziptied them together to make a set of cubbies. I inserted some plastic wash tubs from the kitchen section of Walmart into each of the "cubbie" for the kids to put their items in. Works great. In the floral / home decor section of Walmart is some tin buckets with a chalkboard label. I use those to house little finger paints, glue sticks, etc. and store them in our china cabinet like a display. They are cute through the glass door. I have a bunch of themed binders by month, holiday, and theme too! :) I laminate everything and always have laminating sheets on hand. I actually get a pit in my stomach when I see I'm running out. LOL For your teddy bear file folder game, you can have a teddy bear picnic and eat things a bear would eat like berries and eat Teddy Grahams. The kids I taught at Head Start years ago loved it! I have two sets of the Sam's Club rolling carts that I labeled each drawer A-Z for individual letter activities with their matching little toys. Oh my gosh! I love that mini-dental activity you made, and the apple pie activity! How creative?! Helpful Hint: I take pictures of every individual item I have in my theme and keep it together for a reference in the future, especially if I've pulled toys and other resources from around the room and don't necessarily keep them all in one themed box. That way, when I want to repeat the theme, I have a reference point. I loved your arts and crafts room and daycare space. Thanks for the video!

Jennifer Amador storage is always a challenge with home daycare. I’m fortunate to have built a house with daycare in mind but I still run out of space sometimes!
