Shout out from a Lithuanian fan! I noticed Romeo wearing this t-shirt (the multi colored one with a skeleton playing basketball) few times in the vlogs. There is an amazing story behind this t-shirt, you might wanna share it with Romeo. After the break of USSR Lithuanian basketball team qualified for 1992 Olympics, but couldn't afford to go. American rock band Grateful Dead heard about this situation and decided to fund our team's expenses and sent a box of tie-dyed outfits in Lithuanian flag's colors. Lithuanian basketball team ended up wining bronze medals at the games. They wore these t-shirts while receiving their medals.

MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO PUT FLOOR PLUGS IN THOSE “CUT OUT” SPOTS INSTEAD! THEN IF YOU USE A LIBRARY TABLE BEHIND THE COUCH OR SIDE TABLES WITH YOUR COUCH YOU ARE ABLE TO HAVE LIGHTING.

Maybe these decorative pieces could be used as the sort of “covers” like a little door that opens up for when you want plugs? But I also know they’re having difficulty with getting the electrician to come round and even finalise what’s there, let alone do more. I imagine that redirecting an under floor plug to that spot might be a little complicated at this stage

Definitely no for the molding in the flooring. It will be a pain to keep clean with the constant dirt and dust getting into it. Plus it’ll never be even/ flush with the floor with indents. Additionally if you move furniture around and a leg happens to go over it and gets caught you might end up damaging the floors and your furniture

@@geegurl25 that’s the only thing that would make sense but then she’d have to make the rest of her floors super glossy I’d think. Either way I don’t think it’ll fit into the aesthetic. I will say tho she’s doing such a good job!

To make sure the entryway cabinet isn't too big... Fashion a box the same size as the cabinet. Position it in the hallway so you can walk around it and get a real feel for its "presence". If there will be a mirror above it, cut some tinfoil to that size and tape it above the box(es), shiny side out. Reflected light makes a big difference, so you want to include it as you evaluate the size. Good luck 👍

I think putting those decorative pieces in the floor could end up being problematic. What if it's right where a furniture leg from a couch or side table would end up? It would make it uneven and the furniture would wobble. Also, dust and dirt would gather in the grooves and indentations. Given your skill couldn't you make the type of dining room table you want? I really enjoy your videos. 😊

I love how you and your family always say "show them" or call us "your friends" Instead of "film that for the video/vlog"

Loving your videos. Might be a good idea to staple plastic where your missing transom windows go. If a windy storm with a lot of rain comes through you could have drywall or wood floors get damaged. ;)

You're still one of my favorite 3 youtubers.... always so nice to see something happy and pleasant. It is very inspiring to see a young woman just go for it and not be afraid to try new things! When I watch your videos it makes me feel like I can do anything. :)

@@xomacennavlogs you don't have a green thumb? How long ago was it that you used your first power tool and now you're a pro! You've proven you can do anything.

let me speak to you from experience! If you're going to put the decorative tiles down in the hole where the post used to be -- which will look amazing and is absolutely an excellent call back and I totally support that decision -- Philip with resin. The last thing you need in the real world is a very slight hole in your floor. If you don't trip over it and you don't constantly stumble over it and you don't constantly find yourself trying to level out furniture over it if everything goes perfectly according to plan it is still going to be the one place in your house that is always dirty. Do not leave an indent in your floor if you can help it. fill it in with resin or any other version of the world something that makes it flat. You will not regret that choice.

16:18 - That Massimo shirt reminds me of a brand I used to love. Aahhh the memories. Back in the early 90’s when I was in high school (in New Zealand) the kids were all about Mossimo and Stüssy 👍🏽😍

I got so homesick when I saw you on Interstate 35 going to Austin. I have family there and I spend time there with my son and grandchildren. I love to thrift shop when I’m there. The house is really coming along nicely. I saw a lady on you tube DIYing a mirror like that just yesterday. She did an awesome job but I like the real one better. I think it’s a great idea to have a piece like the one you saw at that store to tie in with the bead board but I think a a bigger piece would be better. I can’t wait to see it in your foyer.
